I recently had a 4 month old major brand name refrigerator break down. The company brags and promotes how great their customer service/tech support service is. Well my experience with that company has been less than impressive. At this point we have been without a working refrigerator for 29 days. After talking with the tech support and having their repairman at my house to work on the refrigerator 3 times and it still was not repaired and talking to the big box store where the refrigerator came from to find out they really don’t care about their customer either once you buy something from them. We had to have a working refrigerator until I could get my my broken down refrigerator repaired or replaced. I called my local Rent A Center in Belleview Florida and found people who actually care about their customers. I have never rented or purchased anything from Rent A Center in my life but from the time they answered the phone I new things were going to get better. The manager Jeff answered the phone and actually listened to what my needs were and immediately assured me he could help me. What a relief after being treated like a piece of trash from Samsung, and all the big box store wanted to do was sell me a new refrigerator. No thanks. Read more🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 This company lacks professionalism in the way they speak to their customers, treating them like children instead of respectful individuals. The credit manager takes it a step further by trying to intimidate those who don't comply with his demands, even when payments are not past due. I know this firsthand, as I was threatened by the credit manager to come and grab a sofa and loveseat from my home, where I have a newborn and three other children, simply because I stated that I expected to be treated with respect. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional, and I will never recommend this STORE to ANYONE. I will be escalating this issue to the highest degree possible and sending a letter on Monday morning to ensure that their unacceptable behavior does not go unheard. They really have to do better, and that credit manager needs to seek a new career, because working with PEOPLE is not his expertise! I paid off a washer and dryer with them(yes I was late sometimes, even had covid and didn't work for a bit) but the account was paid in full. Couple months later I stop in looking for a sectional, Jeff was nice in person and said "anything I can do to help ya just let me know" fast forward to today I tried renting a portable AC unit from another location (they didn't have one in stock) and Bob and Jeff told them not to rent to me! I called and asked for Jeff and of course "he was in a meeting"(what meeting could you possibly be in, other than not having the guts to talk to me)so I got to deal with Mr. Rude as can be Bob I've already called corporate and am looking forward to call with the district manager.
