Roses — Local services in Belleview

This was the second Rose's that we have visited. I do not remember if I wrote a review on the other Rose's in Ocala or not. But this one was really decent, so I am writing a review for this Rose's. This Rose's seems bigger than the Ocala store to me. But I really like that they are set up basically identical. This made navigating the store much easier, since I was somewhat familiar with the other Rose's in Ocala. Both stores had some different merchandise that I didn't see in the other store. I will say that this Rose's seemed to have a little better quality of some of the merchandise. And it seemed a little better organized and seemed a little cleaner as well. But that just may be a false perception. Although I am sure the clothing section is larger in this store. They had the items we were looking for the the Ocala store didn't. Maybe just the luck of the draw, maybe not. One thing I will say, is the the employees were definitely friendlier and more helpful. We had one of the employees help us quite a bit. To her, I would again say thank you. A good employee that goes out of their way to help you, is what all businesses like this should appreciate and strive for. We sure did and it made our shopping experience easier and better. In this case her helpfulness did cost me more money, since I found more items that we purchased than I would have without her help. :)

{Edit to add: I happened to be in the area of this Rose's. So I decided to return to Rose's to see if she was working. I did need an item of two, so I figured I would just get them in Rose's. Now I had an excuse to see if she was working. I managed to find the employee that I spoke of, since she was working. I thanked her again and asked her her name. I told her about my review and that I was going to edit the review to add her name. She told me that her name is Donna.}

I truly do not know what is different about this Rose's over the Ocala store. I really like both stores and have found items that I have purchased. They do have some different items that the other doesn't that make them unique. So I guess we can make a trip over to visit this Rose's now and then to see what they may have, that we may have to have. This Rose's does a pretty good job at what they do. Until today i would have rated higher like a 3 instead but their employees and managements lack of responsibility astounded me. I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my husband at tge tax collectors office right next door. I watched their cart pusher get a load of about 10 carts push them together n then leave them as he toom in another set. Thats all good but the ones he left started to roll downhill and slammed into a customers car. Another employee walked out n started grabbing the carts. I yelled hey those carts just hit that car. The employee ignored me n walked away. I then called to speak with a manager. Come to find out the employee who ignored me was the assist manager. She told me that the car was fine and there was no big deal. Um no... wrong... The store doesnt have to right to assume its fine and not inform or attempt to inform the owner. She again stated it was no big deal. I was calm until this point. I then sternly asked for the store managers info so i could speak with them. Low n brehold all the sudden the store manager was present. N the entire story changed. She was sorry and could i please tell descripher what car it was and who the employee was or a physical description. Honestly it wasnt my problem and the car maybe fine. I just couldnt believe it took me saying i was going to leave my personal info on the car incase they needed to know what happend for someone to step up n do the right thing. Well roses had cans of spray paint different varieties it says in the ad assorted spray paint $1.99 it has crayon rust gloss paint blue black green yellow every color you could think of but then when you go to the store to buy it I tell you oh we don’t have that paint that’s not the right paint back there this is the Bellview store first off then I went to the one in Ocalla off of 200 I bought eight cans of the black to white and two green for $1.99 as of Monday July August 1 then I went over there today August 4 they tell me no that’s not the right paint I said well I just bought it over here Monday for $1.99 the manager said it was oh no no no no no That’s not the right cans of pain so roses stores need to get their act together either it’s the right paint or it’s not the right paint they shouldn’t put out flyers for $1.99 for spray paint with assorted spray paint they made it they need to make sure that they have Pacific paint cans with their names right on it so that people would know that their precious assorted paints does it mean everything I’m very unhappy with roses one says it’s $1.99 the other one says no I don’t think I’ll be going back roads anytime soon which I don’t care I’m sure they don’t they gonna miss my dollar to but what a mess I...
