My older son attended CCA Park Highland couple of years ago and my younger son currently attends preschool at this campus. I am very delighted with both the academic as well as personality development focus for young kids. There are numerous class room activities starting from writing alphabets to numbers to fun craft work to singing\dance performances. They also have a covered patio at the back for kids to play when it rains, which is very useful for Seattle weather. We get daily updates for classroom activities with kids photos as well as the daily log for each student. This gives me a good idea about how my son spends time, did he eat enough for snacks\lunch or did he take a nap. Their recent school renovation speaks up for their high quality and aspirations. For me personally, the highlight of this campus is the campus director, Mrs. Brunetta, who is full of energy and optimism. She is very accommodating and understanding, which makes us feel very comfortable especially in the current COVID situation when there are ample uncertainties. They follow strict health protocols during the pandemic to ensure the safety of teachers and students. I would highly recommend this campus as it offers well-rounded facilities for kids and also addresses parents...
Read moreCedar Crest Academy has been a wonderful experience for our family. We’re especially grateful for Ms. Brunetta and her incredible leadership—her warmth, professionalism, and dedication truly set the tone for the entire school. From the moment we joined, the environment has felt so welcoming, and the communication has been outstanding. We always felt informed and supported every step of the way. What truly sets Cedar Crest apart is its strong academic foundation, even in the early years. During his time in preschool and pre-K, our son not only had fun and felt genuinely cared for, but he also learned how to read and developed impressive math skills for his age. It’s amazing to see how much he has grown both socially and intellectually. Beyond the classroom, the school fosters a strong sense of community. Events like the winter and spring performances are a wonderful way for families to come together and celebrate the students' learning and creativity. The joy and pride on the kids’ faces during these moments say it all. We feel so fortunate to have been part of the Cedar Crest community. It’s a special place that blends academic...
Read moreOur child is at YPS at the Park Highland campus at Cedar Crest. This was her first public childcare setting, since she was home before that for Covid and we went in with lots of trepidation. We really saw her thrive! She seldom spoke a word in public before this, and now she constantly chats about her school, her teachers and friends, and can't wait to share her stories with them! The school has great academic focus, lots of engaging activities for little minds, includes morning and afternoon snacks and lunch, provides before and aftercare, and enrichment activities. We get daily updates from the classroom and our daughter ADORES her teachers. Ms Brunetta is warm, engaging and the school plans a ton of activities for families to participate, which helped us engage actively (much to our daughter's delight :-) and helped our child learn about diverse cultural events. We could not be happier with this safe, happy and enriching environment for start of 'school life' for...
