Factoria Security Self Storage — Local services in Bellevue

I moved in to a unit and the rolling door barely worked. The units are old and haven't been cared for. They were repainting the outside and the front entrance was blocked several times. Also, the painters would block the narrow area when you drive out of the facility and you would have to wait til they moved their equipment. Numerous times the front door was broken and you had to go in through the back entrance which meant once you were in you had to turn around to get out and hope there weren't other cars or you couldn't. As for the staff, when I went to move out I went into the office and told them I would not be renewing. I again told them on the last day and each time was told I had to come get them once everything was moved out. They close at 6 - well they are suppose to but one of the staff guys ALWAYS would take off during the day and early and lock up. I was there before 5 on my last day, the man had already left, I cleaned out the unit, left it open, removed my lock, and left the unit clean and open. 2 weeks later they email me they are starting lien against the EMPTY UNIT for nonpayment. They are idiots - DONT"...

Not your typical self storage review… I was waiting in the lobby of the establishment across the street to buy some boxes when who I can only assume was the only employee on at the time locked the door from the outside, got in his car, and drove away. Thinking that Factoria Security Self Storage was affiliated with the establishment I was locked inside, I called and requested help. I later found out that the two businesses are separate entities, but that didn’t stop Cork, the assistant manager at Factoria Security Self Storage, from coming across the street to help me out. He then spent the next hour of his time trying to get me out of the building, offering phone numbers to call, making calls himself, offering ways to try and get out of the building, whatever he could do. Thanks to Cork’s help, I did get out, but I still needed boxes. I asked Cork if Factoria Security Self Storage sold boxes - they do, but he gave me a few at no cost for my troubles. I’m forever loyal to Factoria Security Self Storage for all moving and storage needs. These guys know how to take care of people. Thanks a...

This facility receives 5 stars because of individuals like Ben and Reggie. They are customer service minded professionals that are genuinely concerned with your satisfaction.

That being said, I have two slight complaints. The first is with the temperature setting in the wintertime. Please turn the heat up a little. This keeps the dampness out of the furniture and clothes I have stored at your facility. Second, please caulk the exterior wall panel seams on the building - I have a unit on an exterior wall and the seam between concrete wall panels is not sealed well, letting cold, moist air...
