I have had a handful massages from different places while suffering from chronic pain, but Jade Oasis is the very best. Staff are friendly, rates are fair, and the massage is excellent. I get massages with Emma (though I trust all their therapists are excellent) and Emma is very very good at healing massage. She gives feedback on which parts of your body she notices issues and seems to tailor her massage to the issues appearing in that session. She gives tips for stretches and exercises that can help improve different issues, and then gives feedback at the next session about whether your body feels improved. Her touch feels gentle but do not worry, the gentle touch is deceiving, she is doing real work! You do not need to feel pain to get results. But if you prefer more pressure just let her know. Similarly if you prefer chatting or silence, just let her know. She is very accommodating and kind and has her client's best interests at heart. When she has an opportunity as well she goes above and beyond, giving extra time when she has extra time in her schedule and ensuring you get the full time of your appointment in massage, she would rather go overtime and make sure you get the full hour. I have had longer and shorter massages and I would absolutely recommend treating yourself to a longer session at some point, they are amazing treats and you leave feeling like you've ascended to a new plane (haha), but for me the 60 minute sessions consistently leave me rejuvenated and free of pain. If you've been struggling with multiple issues or something more chronic in nature a longer massage initially might give you enough time to really address them all and then move to shorter sessions afterwards, Emma does a great job of recommending how long/how many sessions you need for your issues and imo her recommendations are very cost-conscious and honest, she does not try to upsell you if you don't need it. I also recommend chatting if you enjoy that, Emma is very funny and kind and has a lot of cool insights to share. I've also only had good experiences interacting with the other massage therapists, I do trust they are all excellent.
Overall I have learned a lot and benefited a lot from Emma, the stretches have improved my posture and my back pain and I look forward to my visit every month. Massages can be a very important part of recovering from physical illness, chronic pain, pregnancy, and mental health issues imo and I hope one day insurance companies recognize how beneficial it can be. Absolutely worth every penny and not as expensive as other places to boot, if you are unsure of which massage place to visit definitely, definitely give Jade...
Read moreI don’t normally write reviews, but I’ve decided to share my story. I was dealing with a host of chronic health issues, including fibromyalgia, IBS, arthritis, congestive heart failure, thyroid cancer, skin cancer, and cancerous intestinal polyps. My day-to-day life was a never-ending cycle of doctor appointments and managing over a dozen medications. In late 2022, a car accident changed everything.
After the accident, my pain levels spiked, particularly with a constant, excruciating headache, pain down my left side, a broken foot and fractured left shoulder. Despite numerous doctor visits and medications, my conditions didn't improve significantly. It was when my foot doctor recommended PIP treatment massage at Jade Oasis Wellness last January that things took a more positive turn.
Through regular massage therapy sessions and lifestyle advice from the therapists, my pain levels decreased from 8-9 to 4-5! My IBS disappeared, and I stopped needing pain injections for arthritis in my foot. I also experienced improved sleep quality and weight loss.
Now, I take fewer medications and don't have to take sick days due to fibromyalgia pain. My better physical well-being has improved my mental state, and I'm looking forward to the future with new optimism. Jade Oasis Wellness's holistic treatments have made my quality of life much better, and I’m dreaming about traveling!!!
I want to emphasize that massage therapy isn't a luxury BUT a necessity, especially for those dealing with chronic pain!!! If you can relate to my story, please consider the potential of healing through massage therapy at Jade Oasis Wellness it is a LIFESAVER !!! It changed my life!!! They believe many are suffering in silence due to unawareness, and their therapists are...
Read moreLet me start by saying I truly appreciate Emma for being an amazing prenatal masseuse! Unfortunately, I missed an appointment a few weeks ago (unintentional) and was forgiven for the inconvenience. Then again, I missed my appointment because I had one time down in my calendar and it was 1 hour later than what was in their system. Their policy is that you will be 100% charged for the service if you are a no show. Knowing this, I would absolutely not waste Emma’s time or quite frankly miss the best massage I’ve ever had! I was on my way when I got an email saying I missed my appointment along with a $215 invoice for the missed appointment. I absolutely cannot afford to pay for a massage I didn’t receive as I am 37 weeks pregnant. I never received an email/call or text day of or prior to reminding me of my appointment. They claim to send a reminder 2 days before but that’s not really helpful? Why not set up a reminder day of in consideration of your staff and clients…. I believe pregnant people should get texts day of reminding them as brain fog/lack of sleep is a huge thing for us!! I will truly miss Emma and won’t be back as I don’t think this policy is considerate of their clients and they will miss out of $100’s more dollars because they don’t have a better reminder...
