Wellness massage therapy Bellevue — Local services in Bellevue

I booked two massage sessions yesterday—one for 60 minutes and one for 90 minutes. My 60-minute massage was good. However, the 90-minute session was a very disappointing experience.

The masseuse attempted to end the session 20 minutes early. When I pointed out that 20 minutes were still remaining, she left the room, came back with a wet towel, and placed it on my husband’s stomach. Since then, he has developed a high fever, which is very concerning.

Throughout the session, she never asked about the pressure level and continued applying extremely strong pressure, even after we repeatedly asked her to reduce it. She also didn’t understand English, which made communication difficult.

The worst part was during payment. They made us feel pressured and uncomfortable about tipping. A man who wasn’t even our masseuse approached us outside and aggressively demanded a tip. Even after giving a $20 tip, he was clearly unhappy and made us feel extremely uncomfortable.

Overall, this was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this...

I am really sorry to do this because I never like leaving bad reviews, but I don't want the same thing to happen to someone else. I was asked in the middle of my massage if I would like, cupping, I've had it done before, so I said yes. The automatic cups were used on me and left on way too long. Highly inexperienced Massage Therapist. He has high ratings on here. My massage therapist was a male and it was very clear that he did not go to Massage Therapy school. I scheduled a Deep Tissue Massage, and it was clearly not up to par as someone who personally went to school for this. This is the 2nd Massage Therapy place here in Seattle where the "Massage Therapist" did not have an expertise in their "profession". I bought a Groupon for here and I was highly disappointed.
