I'm doubting if the 5 star reviews are genuine or not.

My appointment was at 3PM (Thurs April 3rd) and I came at 2:45pm thinking I could fill out a questionnaire about my skin which is typical for spa places. Nope!!! Not here! I walked into a noisy room with a bunch of old Chinese ladies screaming and laughing at each other. The whole place smelled like red bean soup and it looked like some kind of party or reunion. Honestly, do you really need to do that during business hours? It was so unprofessional and was definitely not relaxing. I was offered water and then didn't get shown into the room until 3:20PM. I overheard Tina talking with her co-worker saying that her previous client came late so I'm sitting there waiting. Well, guess what, if your precious client was late; that's on them. You shouldn't go over time because they came late especially when you know there's another client waiting for their apt and came ON TIME. When I first booked my appointment, I specifically asked the guy who answered the phone if they have a skin scanner and he said he can accommodate me for my appointment. Tina was totally unaware that I made that request. I was expecting the guy would arrange this for my appointment - it's just a common courtesy showing good service! Instead, already completely undressed in nothing but a towel, Tina tells me to go to the skin scanning machine OUTSIDE BY THE ENTRANCE in nothing but wearing a towel. I felt so embarrassed!!! I already got a late start with the appointment so I had no choice but to do what she said. It would've taken up even more time to change back into my clothes. I had to squat in an awkward position in that short towel that I was wearing which killed my knees. There wasn't even a chair and Tina didn't even have the decency to move the scanner from the corner of the room. She said typically it's already in the room but didn't know I wanted to scan my skin (that's why I called before hand!). She was lazy to move the scanner so I just had to squat there in my towel. It was crazy! Finally, I get back in the room. She shows me my analysis expecting me to read the essay long analysis of my skin. I asked if she can email me. At the end of the session, she emailed me but I never even got the email! During the whole Korean facial, it was very unpleasant. Normally the esthetician will ask about any sensitivity. She never asked me. I had to tell her and even after telling her, she still used products on me that burned my face. I could feel really bad tingling. Normally tingling is usual for facials but this was uncomfortable! She sprayed super cold stuff on my face and the face mask was the coldest face mask I've ever had. I could hardly breathe! She then spent most of the time doing a massage. I would say the Korean facial is like 30% facial and 70% massage. It wasn't even a great massage. Normally for massaging there will be lotion balm applied but there was NOTHING. Her extractions felt like 2 minutes and she worked on two spots. I couldn't believe it. At the end no tea was served and a lady even barged in talking in Chinese in the middle of my apt. Definitely opposite of relaxing. I also told Tina specifically that I'm ABC and don't know Chinese well. She kept saying my Chinese was good and kept talking to me in Chinese even though I'm American-Chinese and don't understand Mandarin well. She could hardly speak English. I'm keeping this post up until the owner reaches out to me for a refund. It was one of the worst facials I've ever gotten in my life. Don't trust these other reviews. I only give 1 star when I really mean it (check my records after hundreds of reviews). Stay away from this place! $128 + tax completed wasted!!! There are much better places to get a...

Loved my hydrofacial and head spa! Tina and her staff are attentive and want to please clients. That said, I found them through Groupon and if you did too and are looking at reviews before booking, give them a call and they’ll give you the same or better deal. Groupon takes a hefty fee and it’s in the small business’ best interest to call and book with a deal over going through another app! Highly encourage supporting directly!

As far as my services go, I did the Hydrafacial and a Head Spa, and while it wasn’t the official “hydrafacial” machine, the overall experience was amazing - she did extractions, some kind of insane lightening around my mouth where I had hyperpigmentation, and an overall dewy glow. Tina let me know what would be best for each area of my skin while avoiding any sensitive spots - an absolutely tailored experience even though all I got was a hydrafacial.

My official recommendation is to skip the head spa - you’re better off getting a wash or cut and blowout. BUT that said, I would do a facial + massage instead of facial plus head spa because omg Tina packs a punch! She is so tiny and yet amazingly strong. She gave me a shoulder massage and I don’t think I’ve had a better massage in the last five years (as a monthly massage fanatic) as her knowledge of reflexology and lymphatic drainage make for an extremely medical seeming experience. 10/10 recommend any...
