I am always amazed at the excellent quality and quantity of food at Briatore.
Dining in at the restaurant is very pleasant. The owners are kind at heart and are very fun to talk to. The atmosphere is calming and helps to relieve the stress from a hard day’s work. The last time I visited the restaurant, with a group of 3 other friends, we opted to eat outside under their umbrella covered seating. The sun was out, the ice was cold, and our 3 pizzas were magnificent.
I’ve eaten here many times over the past 5 years (I'm probably putting their son through college) and can recommend most of the items on the menu. But my go to items are: The house special pizza, five cheese tortellini, cheese sticks, Greek salad, gusto carnissima calzone, and of let’s not forget the most important item…..their Whoopie Pie…. Its simply freaking amazing.
A definite must for anyone who works and or lives in the Bellevue...
Read morePros: Meatball sandwich was VERY good, especially for the price. The drink was ice cold. Clean with seating inside and outside.
Cons: If you're not a fan of chairs with arms or sitting at those tall, bar-like tables, then this isn't the place for you. I'm a big guy and I found the outside chairs uncomfortable. Inside there's only one short table with four armless chairs. The rest of the seating are either at a tall bar along the front window (at least those chairs don't have arms) or the tall bar tables with tall bar chairs with arms. None of the tall tables have footrests under them.
I feel tall, bar-like seating like this limits your clientele and, honestly, they're not very comfortable even if you fit in them.
So five stars for the food, but minus two stars for the seating. I likely won't return because if I can't sit comfortably while trying to enjoy my lunch, there's no point...
Read moreThis place is absolutely AMAZING! I used to come here all the time when I worked in Bellevue and I rarely get to go there now that I work in Seattle. My recos would be the Brooklyn Bridge Panini, Four Cheese Tortellini, gyros, breadsticks (TO DIE FOR) and salads. Their salads are always super fresh. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but I'm sure they won't disappoint. It is a smaller restaurant, but I think most people order to go/delivery so if you wanted to sit and eat, you wouldn't have to wait long for a table. They are always super friendly and their kids are really cute. Always fun to get a few smiles and waves from the little boy while I wait for my food.
Yes, delivery time can be a little longer than expected, but it is definitely worth the wait. Keep in mind that they only have one person delivering and they cover a busy part of Bellevue especially on weekdays...
