Let me start by saying I work hard at keeping everything I say positive but after dealing with STG for a week now thatâs pretty impossible to do. First off Iâll start but saying. They lied to get me there saying that my pre approval numbers would be the same as there were to to me by another pre approval financial institution. Then the person who promised the car would be ready sitting nice and clean out front never even came to meet me after lying about the car. I drove 2 hours and 45 mins for them to say the car was still in servicing and so they showed me other cars I couldnât afford. Long story short as possible. The numbers were way out of the range I was told they wouldnât give me my drivers license back and kept trying to persuade me and then later all of a sudden the car was back from servicing. In a rush to leave because I had ppl waiting on me that let me test drive it around the dealership four corners no freeway or really get to see how it drives. I ended up not wanted to waste my entire and and the money I had thrown away on a ride out there I decided to het the car. Not really getting to thoroughly check the car out in my own ignorance I bought it.
I came to discover that they photoshopped the pictures to disguise the damage, the transmission was tripn on the way home but I thought it just might be how this car auto start stop mode make it drive. I contacted them which was hard to do because they only respond when they feel like it or need something. Long story short the car broke down after 6 days had me stuck in the intersection for 3 hours cause it wouldnât go into neutral to push it out of traffic. I contacted them and they had nothing to say but Iâll have the liar Cesar contact you. Which he hasnât because they already told me no matter what the car is mind and so itâs on me they can check it out but if they canât fix it itâs my car. Or I can refinance it but itâs a little to soon but I can try but this was before the car left me stranded. So NO I DONT NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. They are the typical sales people that says and doesnât whatâs needed to make a sale and then do not put as much energy into helping you once the deal is done. Iâm so disappointed and now I have to take them to small claims court just after a week. The car was a 530i BMW 2017. And now I have no way to work which was the rush to buy the car in the first place. So know, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE THEY WELL HOLD IT HOSTAGE until they can convince you to buy something or you will waste your time trying to get it back like I did. They have no concern about you are the car after the sell they only want to make a sale and soon as they do they just play games. But will beg and plead for you to stay and let them work something out. There were so many red flags I missed being in a rush. Donât make that mistake at any dealer cause they will try their hardest to take full advantage because once you sign your screwed if something goes sideways not them they already have there money.
You know how it goes all the movies youâve see with the dirty car sales man is the experience youâll get there at STG. SO BE WARNED. And know Iâm not mad, Iâm not making this up, Iâm not a fake person. All this is a true story and more but just know the energy after the purchase change. And so youâll know I dealt with a Rene sale manager, Israel, Cesar, Carlos and I forget the other names BE WARNED. Go to a different dealer a big dealer no off brand places because I shopped around and all of them lied to either get me there or about the car or photo shopped photos of the vehicle to get you in there so they have a chance to convince or persuade you.

   Read moreI am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding my visit to STG Montclair on 1/26/25. As a returning customer who has leased three vehicles from your location, I expected the same professionalism and care I have experienced in the past. Unfortunately, my recent experience was anything but satisfactory.
I initially met with Kevin to discuss trading in my 2018 Mazda CX5, which I leased from STG two years ago, for a 2022 Mazda CX30. After discussing the numbers, I explained that I could not afford the $4,000 down payment or a $700 monthly payment. Kevin assured me he could help, which led to a drawn-out, 6-hour process. Eventually, I was offered a deal with no money down, using my trade-in, for a $680 monthly payment. I agreed and began signing the paperwork.
Kevin informed me that the CX30 was at the Bellflower location and was on its way to Montclair. While I waited, I started moving my belongings out of my CX5. However, shortly after, another finance associate approached me and stated there was a mistake: my trade-in would not be accepted. He abruptly told me that I would have to take the CX30 without trading in my current vehicle. I was shocked and frustrated, as this was not the agreement I had just signed.
When I raised my concerns, Kevin claimed he had informed me about the trade-in not being accepted, which was untrue. I repeatedly stated that taking on two car payments was not feasible for me, but I was met with rude behavior and dismissive responses. Ultimately, I was told to leave without signing anything to void the contract. Both Kevin and the finance associate assured me that no further action was needed since I never took possession of the vehicle, test-drove it, or finalized the transaction.
The lack of professionalism and clear communication was appalling. As a returning customer, I expected better treatment and transparency. To make matters worse, I called the office the following morning at 9:15 AM to speak with a manager, only to be told that no manager was available. I was unable to get any clarity or peace of mind regarding the contract.
I am now deeply concerned about the status of this transaction. My signature, as well as my motherâs, is on the contract. I need assurance that I am not legally bound to a vehicle I do not possess and cannot afford. I cannot risk receiving a welcome letter from a finance company or a payment notice for $680 a month.
I have also reached out to Anthony via text to explain the situation, but I have not received a response. The lack of communication and professionalism at STG Montclair is unacceptable, and I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if this matter is not resolved promptly.
I request immediate confirmation that the contract has been voided and that I am not responsible for any financial obligations regarding the CX30. I sincerely hope STG Montclair addresses this situation and prevents similar issues from happening to...
   Read moreHorrible experience! I reached out to STG because they had the car, I wanted stopped by Wed test drove the car with Vincent and it was great! Then came the added features they automatically add to the price on tint, gps and window guard. They worked some numbers after various back and Forths and came to an agreement. I asked the process since this is the first time I purchase through my bank and not financing with the dealer. I was told they've worked with my bank, and it would be a smooth transition once I bring them the letter from the bank. Thursday, I got the approval from my bank but due to this being non Franchise they provided me a drafted letter and I was told once they have the registration perfected, they can pick up the check. Well, I went in Thursday night to pick up MY CAR I provided everything my bank gave me and nope I was told I cannot take it yet and this could take up to 10 DAYS!!! I asked what the process is I was never told this. This is where it just got worse. The 'MANAGER" Jose came out talked to me and said there was not much he can do he will try to expedite it. Then after a lil back and forth he said if I can get him a copy of the check, he can release the car. I told him if that was the case then they needed to change the window tint since the car was staying that way I didn't go back and forth. I called him after 11 since I was told he came in then he wasnt in so I emailed him copy of the check. Waited till 2 pm for him to follow up with me and nothing. Then I called him after 2 and I was left on hold for over 20 min till I hung up and emailed him a screen shot of how long I was waiting and how unprofessional he was when finally, I got a call back. He said my car was ready to pick up Friday night he was going to make sure the tint was fixed and let me know. Well never got a call from him so Sat middayI went in to pick up my car. Here we go again with the looooong wait. I was told Jose was going to talk to me I saw him walk back and forth and nothing then another guy came to me and asked if Jose came to see me, and I told him NO they then called Vincent. After waiting again finally Vincent came and said he was going to get the car, and finally Jose said all was done. It still took them a while to give me my car and when they did car was not even washed and no floor mats!!! I was like wow the car was dirty I have purchased cars from other places, and they make the experience so nice clean detailed car and make you feel appreciated this place was like here's the keys go IN A DIRTY CAR WITH THIER PLASTIC ON THE FLOOR! I asked about the floor mats and after another long wait I was told no mats but check in with them today. Well its Monday I messaged them and guess what! NO RESPONSE!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE!!
