Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Long Beach

02/15/ 2023 after 8:30 pm I ordered spicy 2 pc white meat and 3 tenders with sides. They had no mac & cheese, no blue berry pie but the very worst part was the CHICKEN. They gave me almost 8 pieces for the price of 3 and I was like oh wow "yeah " (thought I won) but when I picked it up I noticed that the temperature was dang near room temperature or cooler; when I bit it I could've scrapped off the roof my gums; when I chewed it it might as well had been called Popeyes Jerky. I was so hungry, angry, and hurt; I spent a lot of money and THEY GAVE US COLD OLD FRIED CHICKEN. I eneded up having to throw away 7 & 1/2 of the tough tenders (i tried to eat it... Over $40 spent). It was so late, i was to tired to go back. The 2 PC breast and wing was cold as well, not fresh or near fresh but not over fried like the tenders were. The sides i recieved were good: red beans, coleslaw, fries, and mash potatoes. I'm a local that always go here and this was the 1st time they ever served this disappointment here.

Created an online mobile order thru the Popeyes app. I arrive there and there’s a line at the drive thru which is understandable. Once it is my turn to go up to the drive thru speaker I get a quick prompt “give me one second” okay I wait. About 5 mins pass by and still nothing (I got like 5 or 6 cars waiting behind me) I then say Hello and then the speaker comes up again saying “give me a second” to which I say politely I only have a mobile order I don’t need to order anything. The person then says ok pull forward. I arrive to the window and the guy there immediately asked who for the order and I say my name but then he asks again rudely and I said my first and last name. He hands me order and only hands me one drink and then I tell him I had two drinks (because I ordered two combos) he gives me my second drink. Once I leave I check my order and not to my surprise I only was given one combo. I refuse to go back to this location and every time I give them my business I end up disappointed. If I could give half a star that's still too many. No matter what time of day and night I've gone there since its been open the wait is horrible inside or in your car. I just left there and I was the only person in the drive threw and the lady ask me to hold a minute. I then said okay it doesn't look crowded inside plus I wanted to see thier specials which clearly there's not many lol. I go in and there were 4 or 5 ppl ahead of me, which still wasn't too bad but it was and one of customer ask for spicy on het order which she had been waiting for awhile until she asked where is her order and they said to her there's no spicy, just mild and guy who took her order said he said it would be 8 minutes. The other worker said no that wait time was for mild not spicy...I almost fell to the floor trying to hold my tongue because that could have been handle 20 minutes ago and they could have comp her for her wait time.
