Superior Grocers — Local services in Bellflower

I was on vacation presicely on July with my parents and while we waited for the family we were visiting close by we decided to stop by this grocery store to catch some food for our vacation stay at our Hotel. Here it goes, #1 the disgusting smell from decaying meat blood hit me hard right when I entered and the air conditioner hits you, this smell was all over the store and I had to hit the restroom, the smell never stopped! It was worse than some one's poop. #2 what's with the withered vegetables? I wanted to be a little healthy on my vacation and maybe hit some packed green mix salad or at least some Arugula.... guess what? It was all yellow, soggy, dry, disgusting. Every leafy greens such as Cilantro, Spinach, packed yellowed romaine lettuce withered and depressing; to be honest I'm not even sure if we even got out of the store with anything... besides beer. Last but not least, #3.... dirty u_u.

I've been to many grocery stores with meat section and I can say my husband thought me to distinguish a good cleaning from just leaving it in the front displayed meat and not have...

This place is ok, but the products are very expensive, not all the staff is friendly and helpful. They do have a lot of products to buy, I understand the economy is not good, but people are losing their jobs, and with those prices so high, we will not be able to eat...at least the basic groceries should be more accessible. Yes, they do have 🤞specials🤞but because their products are almost expired, most people never check the Exp date. PLEASE, when you go groceries, check ✔️ the expiration date! My point is if they lower the prices so low because the time is running, why not put all those groceries in special sometimes?? The company will sell more during the days they have real specials, that's why many people get sick, or intoxicated, because company's and markets preferred to sale at the last minute a product that is...

05/06/2024 Hello, today I went to Superior, I go to that place all the time for my groceries and I have always liked it and I have had good treatment. However, today at 3:43 Mrs. Cindy attended me at the checkout where I had to pay. My 5-year-old daughter greeted her out of dedication and she did not answer and I called her back very upset. In addition to the fact that she spoke to me in English the whole time and despite the fact that I greeted her in Spanish and she did not bother me being Hispanic, at least she should have received courtesy even though she does not speak Spanish. But her attitude seemed very unpleasant to me. So I will never return to that place. Sadly, it is the closest to me and that is why I was stuck there all the time. But they already lost me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LADY HER NAME IS CINDY...
