Granary Building — Local services in Bellingham

The Granary has been a long time aspect of the Bellingham waterfront skyline and it is great to see the multi-story building survive and be brought into the modern era!

Along with that this architecture is a prime surface for 3D projection mapping and this was exemplified with our work during the 2019 Bellingham SeaFeast Festival celebrating all the delicious fish and cuisine of the area.

It was so great to illuminate this building in a creative way and see all the people walking by ad enjoying it in the evening.

This building has come along way from the abandoned state it was in and then the remodel. Last time I was here there was only a yoga studio upstairs and now there are several small businesses on the ground floor, coffee shop and vegan snack shop. I look forward to more improvements. I have always enjoyed visiting this space. However, I was very disappointed over Fourth of July weekend when individuals who were obviously inebriated and belligerent were permitted to smoke off of the second floor balconies and ash on the pedestrians below. I hope this issue can be addressed to keep the environment safe for families...
