I have been seeing Mckenna for massages for almost a year. Her demeanor is professional yet warm and kind and she is truly talented in her technique. I think this also allows her to really take time and connect with her clients verses rushing them in and out as I have experienced at places where the therapist is hired. She is offering a very generous special on abdominal massage at the time being that I highly recommend...just $35 for an hour massage with 30 minutes devoted to the abdomen and 30 minutes on a general area of your choice. I find the abdominal work not only to be deeply soothing and relaxing, but very therapeutic as well...not at all invasive as you might imagine. I also had a very memorable experience in which I had an appointment made but contacted her to let her know that I was feeling under the weather and didn't want her to catch anything. She graciously told me she has a strong immune system and saw me anyway and I swear the massage helped me recover faster. Just remember to bring cash or check as I don't think she accepts...
Read moreI have been receiving massages from Mckenna for almost two years. I have had hundreds of massages over the many years (I did the math for this review) and Mckenna is very good. First the basics: Mckenna is easy to communicate with and to book appointments - very good customer service. Her studio is clean and quiet with no strong spa scents or fancy candles. Now the more personal: Mckenna has been able to give me massages where and how I need them in a way that heals and relieves both tension and acute pain. I started with her due to lower back pain and over a few weeks she helped clear it up. She is able to pin point the sore muscles without making the “cure worse than the disease”. I feel her working the muscles, but she knows when to press on and when to back off. I am glad I...
Read moreSeeing McKenna twice a month, 120 min sessions, over the past year has been the best quality of life decision. Enjoyed the attention to detail massaging on what’s needed and in a way that can help pain points feel better. It’s therapeutic and provides lasting benefits for days. She’s a great listener and communicator.
Context: I’m a person fully in his 40’s, investing in my health and went from 0 workouts/exercise to cardio-heavy workouts now 5-6 days/week, and lost 100 lbs over the past 15 months. While I’ve helped myself in the ways exercise & weight do, McKenna has helped me in the ways I couldn’t help myself with the concurrent soreness from exercise & age (neck/traps, shoulders/deltoids, lower back/lats, glutes,...
