I had the worst experience I have ever had at a Kohl’s store. I had driven from The Liberty store where they were out of stock of the shirts I wanted. I found them at the Belton store. However the prices war marked differently for the same merchandise. Because of the confusion I brought a few extra shirts to the register to show the employee. The employee explained it to the manager, Who immediately began to ridicule me about their mistake. The manager stated the reason for the price difference was because the shirt was a different color. My daughter who was with me went back to the clothing rack and obtained two more shirts exactly like the one I had. All three shirts which were identical in brand, color, print; had three different prices on them. The manager then insinuated that perhaps either my daughter or I switched the prices on the shirt. I had her scan the barcode of each shirt which reflected in the price that was marked on the identical shirts which were all priced differently. The manager took a sarcastic and demeaning tone and began making demeaning comments. I quickly ended the conversation by requesting the corporate phone number and the managers name. Initially the manager refuse to give me her name “DeAnna”. After requesting her name repeatedly, she replied “I don’t know what you want that for quote.” I stated, you’re not wearing a name tag of any sort; are you the manager? The manager then made another sarcastic remark, which I refused to reply to. I immediately called customer support service from the parking lot and realized the manager did not give me the correct phone number for Kolhl’s corporate office. However I have sent filed a formal complaint against that manager and will be following up with an...
Read moreKohl’s in Belton isn’t just a store—it’s a rite of passage. It’s where lost souls go to find themselves between discounted Cologne and a 12 -pack of mystery socks. It’s where fashion meets confusion and then takes a sharp left into i spent $300 and it was worth it. Every time I walk in, I feel like I’m entering the final level of a suburban video game. There’s music playing from 2007, a grandma arguing over expired Kohl’s Cash, and a dad in sandals whispering to himself, “I just came here for jeans…” You don’t go to Kohl’s—you prepare for Kohl’s. You hydrate. You stretch. You bring snacks. Because once you start looking through those 20% off racks, you lose time. I blacked out near the men’s sweaters and woke up in housewares clutching a shower curtain and a 14-piece knife set.
And let’s talk about Kohl’s Cash. It’s like Monopoly money printed in the tears of confused husbands. “You saved $63 today! Here’s $10 to come back next week and spend $200 more!” You know what, Josie? Fine. Twist my arm. Let me go grab another flannel and you get something snazzy for yourself. But the real heart? It’s the people. The workers. The sweet cashier who doesn’t even flinch when I pull out seven coupons, a gift card, and exact change in nickels. That’s love. That’s courage. That’s the patience of a saint who’s seen some stuff. So thank you, kohls in belton missouri. For the deals. For the chaos. For reminding me that no matter how bad my day is, at least I can buy hawaiian shirts for $15 and pretend I’m getting my life together. And yes. I do feel like a better person after shopping here. Or at least a...
Read moreI went here to get something to wear to my mom's funeral. I was a little dazzed because this was the last thing in the world i wanted to be doing, and i was there for quite a while, wandering around. I was struggling with what to wear. I'm sure staff probably noticed that I was taking a long time in the store. I started to notice some employees had started to show up wherever I went. It made me uncomfortable. I was already an emotional wreck, and then this. I misplaced my phone, so I asked an employee who was with two other ladies doing nothing but standing around near men's section closest to the shoe dept if anyone had turned one in. They said to check customer service. I went to check the restroom instead, and luckily, I found it. I went back to the shoe dept and there was a wonderful woman who worked there and she helped me decide on a shoe to wear. I wish I had gotten her name because she was so friendly, unlike the other three employees. I understand that in today's world that if you see someone going from dept to dept, workers might become curious as to what you are doing. So just ask, and maybe you'll find out that they are really there to buy something and might be having a rough day. I will go back because it's about the only place near me that has clothes that are a fit for most occasions. I was able to find my son's clothes easily...
