It used to be enjoyable shopping at Target. I never had to stress about checking out. Now, I barely shop in store at the Belton, MO location. It’s rare that a cashier is on a register, only. Everything is about self-checkout now. There is an employee watching everything and sometimes can check shoppers out. It seems like an inconvenience to them. They shouldn’t be so under-staffed on purpose. Self-checkout stresses me so much. I have small children. This particular shopping trip, I saw that the self-checkout was busy and the employee there was not going to be able to assist me. I went to customer service. The employee there was visibly inconvenienced. He even said he only had a few moments until he would have to go for a pick-up order. This whole thing is very displeasing to me. I see others who are not happy, as well. I don’t know if there has been a corporate push to take employees away from registers or what. It is rude and unaccommodating to force self-checkout on customers, especially those who are not able to do the process easily. I watch the elderly and others try to do self-checkout at the Belton Target. They are frustrated, disappointed and find it difficult. Belton Target needs...
Read moreAround 8:20 today, 7/28//2021, I needed to return a couple of picture frames that were the wrong size. As usual I was greeted with a smile and a “good morning, welcome to Target” response from the lady at the door.
The lady who returned my items was also very courteous and friendly, and my return was done within 2 minutes. Before leaving I decided to browse the inexpensive items at the front of the store that are perfect for my obsession with organization.
When I noticed there were only two of the items I normally buy, I mentioned how much I loved them to the lady stocking the shelves, she immediately went into action to try and find more for me. She wasn’t able to find them at the Belton store but suggested she could try to find them for me, which I said I would wait until Belton had them again and I would be back.
Sorry I did not get their names but all three of these ladies should be recognized for their outstanding courtesy and friendliness.
I love shopping at Target in Belton, MO because I am always treated as if I am a special customer and I have never had a problem or encountered anyone who was not exceptionally outgoing and friendly. I always choose Target over their...
Read morePhilipp, at first was asssiduous iinn helping t try to find the product that was advertised as being at the store Yet once it was not there,. he became absolutely indifferent to help and instead smug and smirky. Trying to get his name for another employee, she refused to give it, saying "oh I hope it's something good;. I hope it's not bad...'" or the like. I do not believe that it is legal to advertise a product and then not have it; at least without offering a rain check or some form of compensation We had gone out of our way to get to this Belton Target because they are the only target listed as having the product in the entire region.
The product was not there as it had been reported by Target to be, and their attitude was complete indifference no one wanted to help they are only interested in covering their own ar..s. The customer service manager who finally revealed the name of the employee we've been so rude and then run off at the last minute. No help or compensation was offered in lieu of the products being there was supposed to be and no sympathy even the time and trouble would come suffering for...
