Supermercado Guanajuatito — Local services in Belvidere Township

Okay I waited to write a review because I doubted that my first impression was going to be on point. So now I’ve been there a couple of times and although they might be a touch expensive, I will gladly pay it because the service is outstanding. I’d rather pay the little extra a get excellent customer service than get a jerk that’s interested in making a sale instead of giving me quality service. I have bought chicken, steak, chicharron, produce and prepared food. Everything is quality so far. I love the green tamales!! They only sell them on Friday and Saturday, but they are so good. I used to go to fiesta but between the guys that cut the meat not so well, and the girls who give attitude, and you get not so excellent quality or service, no thank you. Guanaguatito is by far excellent...

My daughter goes there for forgetful last minute things. The last few times she has gone, the guy who was working throws the card down/money down. I brushed it off the first few times thinking ok, maybe bad day, tired whatever. Today, she went again, and she brought a friend with her, they both came in and her friend said he threw the card and was like "here" rudely. I'm sorry but we tend to but a few things a week there and now I'm not happy with the treatment. So unfortunately, we will be taking our business somewhere else. I hate to do it because it's so convenient to just swing by, but if he is going to continue his behavior, then going somewhere else...

Unexpected surprise, in small grocery store in Belvidere IL, on a sunday afternoon, seeking for tacos, good tasting, authentic, we ended up here, and the only reason I wouldn't give it 5* is bcz of the sitting, on display for other customers that are actually grocery shopping to see, but here's some pics of the experience we had.
