The same item with a different sauce was $3 less a pound. How about at least offer a discount since you Advertise the wrong price rather than punish the customer? They wouldn't even have a reasonable discussion. What a disgrace to such a great small business. Normally this place is the best. But the prime rib we got this year for Christmas was hands down the worst prime rib we have ever had. Cooked to 130 and the meat was very tough, not at all like their normal cuts. It had a very wild flavor, tasted much more like venison than beef(not at all the flavor you expect from a prime rib). I noticed when I opened the package that all of the fat had been trimmed off already, this is not what I have gotten from them in the past. Really felt like this beef came from an inferior farmer who allowed their cows way too much graze time and was trying to save money on feed. Which made me wonder why was the fat trimmed down so close? Was it because they knew this was low quality meat and trimmed more of the fat in an attempt to hide just how bad the wild flavor was? My family brought a deer in for processing. It look months before they said it was ready. Received one box of 2. All that was given was hamburger. Called and visited this place twice. All they could say is they will look for it. They know they do not have it . It was paid in full. I do not know if he was the owner but he said he wasn't doing this next year.
