Cosmic Depot — Local services in Bend

It's as good a crystal store as anywhere. The most interesting thing about it is the plot of land it sits on.

Both of my bracelets were significantly too tight for my wrist. But they didn't break.

Two slim bracelets cost $27.

I bought them for the function.

This is a mystical story but it's important to read it to understand why I made this purchase:

Many years ago I bought an amethyst bracelet (online from Amazon) and right when I put it on, it snapped. In that same spot the next day, I got robbed.

Fast forward many years later and I remember this story and I decide to buy two much bigger bracelets from Amazon. They get lost in the mail and I get told from Amazon that they can't deliver to their Amazon locker! An impossible story for people who know Amazon. Delivering to an Amazon locker is a sure and reliable technique of getting mail. To have this fail is deeply suspicious.

I take this as an emergency and I rushed to my nearest crystal store to buy an amethyst bracelet for protection. Amethyst is good for psychic protection. This crystal store is Cosmic Depot.

It's not the absolute largest crystal store out there. Those would be in Sedona or the Tucson gem and mineral show. But it has a variety of most staples. It's a cute building on a nice property.

It's very hard to turn into when you're going north to south. This is a building you visit when you're traveling south to north.

Anyway I buy an amethyst and a rainbow hematite and I promise to leave them a review if they don't break. They did not break but they are very tight on me. It's sad that sexism enters into the crystal wear market. Men have man typed rocks like tiger's eye or obsidian and the other crystals have uses for men too. But to find them in man sizes is difficult and I find these are too tight for my wrists.

That's not their fault though so it's not affecting their stars.

The day I put on these two bracelets, I have Four people come up and talk me. I haven't had anyone approach me to speak to me in years. At least as many years as the incident where my bracelet broke and I got robbed.

I think the amethyst cleared whatever negative entity was in my aura and allowed me to receive positive visitations again. Never in my adult life did I have people talking to me at the gas station pump, And then the day I put on this bracelet I have three at once!!

I relied on Cosmic Depot to give me a useful bracelet that did the sort of magical protections I needed, and they delivered. So five stars.

The property is very nice. The store is on the smallish side and I wish they had things like big amethyst bracelets for men. They have a lot of neck jewelry and it seems to cater to their real audience which is women.

I leave my stories of amethyst bracelets to inspire trust that these can help people. I had several weird failures with amethyst bracelets in the past and the day I purchased one from here I had new results that were better than I'd seen before.

When I get back to an Amazon locker that actually works (the failed delivery was for the locker in Sisters), I will purchase some things to restring these small bracelets. Still I'm happy with...

Cosmic is getting a 1 star because I recently found out a few weeks ago that several employees back in, I believe August of last year, were held hostage inside the store by a gunman who was supposed to be trespassed from the store and the owner kept it from getting out to the public. No one was hurt but this guy is walking around free and recently returned to Cosmic to brag and harrass the employees. I know one of my favorite employees quit after that and I am so glad she left. I sincerely hope the remaining employees follow suit, they deserve to be able to go to work and feel safe. There are still no cameras in the store, which says alot about how much the owner cares about their employees. The employees have always been the reason I use to go to Cosmic in the first place but I refuse to shop there again at this point.

AND I found out the place has been infested with rats and has asbestos in the basement!!!! Not a healthy OR safe...

It isn't that I do not like Cosmic Depots merchandise, or the employees. No, what bothers me is that they opened back up so soon. I personally feel that retail stores, gyms, etc. should have remained closed until Phase 3, simply because they are not "essential" and their employees and customers are being put at risk. 75 new cases, as of yesterday in Deschutes county alone. If people choose not to take a worldwide pandemic seriously, and feel shopping and going out to eat are more important then protecting their families, themselves and the people in their communities, then humanity is going to hell in a hand basket. I thought Cosmic was about healing, spirituality and caring for others, not the almighty dollar. I realize small and big businesses alike,need to make money to survive. But at...
