Inside pool is closed, along with the hot tub, and steam room.
On this particular day the water was cold in the pools and it was 80 outside. I asked about 10 people before I decided I am not getting in to be freezing.
2 feet deep infant and children's pool is open that the slide goes into
Thier is a 4 foot pool you can walk around in that is the middle pool
Also lap swim is open but not sure you can swim there unless signed up.
Most people are keeping all thier things outside all over and very little shade to sit in
Also the front entrance is no longer the front entrance we parked there and walked around the building to get to the actual entrance. If you have any sort of walking issues find the entrance before parking as its about a 5 minute walk around the backside
I payed the entry but decided not to use the facility whatsoever and going to try the redmond pool.
Not bashing the place but I wanted a pool not cold creek water to swim in and don't be surprised if the water isn't what you except for normal pool Temps
When I asked the cashier/entry person I asked some of these questions and she made it clear to me she was lucky to come to work but I was only trying to understand the facilty before entry and was a bit confused already as the place is very different right now since the last time I was here
Been here 30 mins and ready to round up the kids and head out as I wanted to swim with them and its really not possible for me as its a bit to cold for...
Read moreI've been going to Juniper on and off for a large part of my life and have never had a bad experience. They have three swimming pools - an indoor children's pool, a normal indoor pool, and an outdoor pool. The outdoor one is covered in the winter and open in the summer, so it's usable all year round.
I use the weight room quite often. There are plenty of machines for working various parts of the body, as well as a healthy amount of free weights. They have plenty of cardio machines and I've only ever had to wait for one at peak hours (and then the wait was only a few minutes).
My only real complaints are the low number of barbell stations (only one traditional station and a smith machine) and that they don't have the specially shaped weights for dead lifts and power cleans. However, they do have a rack of smaller fixed-weight barbells, so it isn't too much of an issue. While they don't have the number or variety of weight machines as somewhere like Gold's Gym, I've never felt like I couldn't work a muscle group because they didn't have what I needed.
They have a large variety of exercise classes as well, but I can't comment on them because I haven't used them. The pools, steam room, and sauna are...
Read moreAfter suffering a stroke, I called for 7 weeks trying to talk to someone regarding hydro therapy to get well. I had a 60 minute appointment to try out the water and it cost me $75.00. I went home thinking My classes were on tuesdays only to return to the lady now on vacation and not so much as an explanation or a call....nothing. i feel I could have gone to a river or lake with my grown sons and gotten a much better time AND had that $75.00 still in my bank account! I feel my money was stolen from me. I will never waste my time there again. Overall, the whole experience was pretty poor, from the first voicemail I left, up to walking out the front door, after getting zero answers as to when was it mentioned that I was paying a lady $75.00 to dip out and go on a vacation just days after telling me how great all the therapy was going to be...Didn't appreciate that. And $66.00 a week for water therapy???? I can't really do that while literally disabled...... I just wanted to try hard to get better and not become a leech on society, and I am doing that, without this fitness center and their exhuberant prices. Nature gives you lots of therapy when you treat it...
