Five Guys — Restaurant in Bend

The worst 5 guys experience ever.... (Go to BlueEyes) I've been going to 5 guys throughout the country since I was in highschool and the bend location is by far the worst. I've succumbed to my cravings too many times hoping for a change and it's never any better. However this last experience took the cake. I asked for extra crispy fries, with a smile on my face (as I have many many times) and the kid at the register explained that they don't do crispy fries but wasn't sure why. I informed him I've been ordering the same thing for years so he yelled to the manager back on the grill, who yelled something back about how since the fries are cooked in peanut oil they can't cook them crispy because it makes them hollow. I explained that I've had them done that way many times and never had an issue and that's how I like them. I also told them I'm not in a hurry and know they take longer when cooked crispy... The fries came out gross. Not even just not crispy, but actually disgusting.. They were soggy and undercooked. Some were pretty much raw. Totally inedible.. the burger was somehow overcooked and soggier than usual... It's always a bad experience at this 5 guys location and for some reason I kept trying... But now I've discovered BlueEyes Burgers and fries! It's everything you want 5guys to actually be and it's delicious and locally owned!!! Just go...

That cheese has a metallic taste to it which ruined the rest of the food. The woman that took the order had an accent and was pretty soft spoken that it was difficult to hear her over the very loud kitchen noises. It was a waste of money because that cheese ruined the food, it couldn't be eaten. Your prices are so high as well. There were teenagers hanging out in the dining area with no food sitting on the tables with feet on tables talking very crudely that a family who was traveling sat by us because they didn't have anywhere else they felt safe enough to eat with the teens taking over the dining room. The lady managing the front register couldn't understand anyone with the kitchen noises when asked for a manager. This location needs to have a better way for communication with customers and a better way to make the dining area a more pleasant experience for people to eat in. Also get better cheese, if you pride yourself in getting locally sourced potatoes, why not get locally sourced cheese...
