Bend’s Art & Soul: Pillars of Art Visit Bend is covered in graffiti. Believe it or not, that’s something to celebrate. The Pillars of Art program is a pop up art gallery located in the Bend Visitor Center. Visit Bend launched the Pillars of Art program to give tourists a close-up look at Bend’s unique arts and culture scene and it’s a fun way to support emerging local artists. Read moreVery disappointed in the attitude of the employee at Bend Visitor’s Center. He was very condescending. I live in Bend. When family comes to town a fun activity is to complete a portion of the “Ale Trail”. We went to the Visitor’s Center to get our cup. My family member said “we take this very seriously” with enthusiasm. The employee said “you and 40,000 other people. If I had a dime for every person that says that”. Rude. She was excited. His attitude was the opposite of somebody working at the welcome center. If you don’t like people being enthusiastic about the “Ale Trail”, an activity that Bend Visitor’s Center highly promotes, maybe find another place to work. Very...
