Los Jalapeños — Restaurant in Bend

Came in around 5. Only waited about 3-4 min in line before being helped. Was happy about that. Nice little hidden spot. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Though the place is small they have quite of a food selection. Definitely not a big family friendly place since they don't have the seating for more then 4 at a table.

Now for the food. I ordered a Chile Relleno plate. It comes with rice and beans as well. The rice was flavorful had a hint of oregano which was different but tasted quite well. The beans were delicious. Hands down one of the best beans I've had apart from my mother's. The Chile Relleno was quite delicious it was an aneheim pepper compared to the most common poblano pepper. It was properly covered in egg with the right amount of a tomato based sauce over it. The Flour tortillas were store bought which is the reason that it did not get a five star.

I should mention that it's not a full sit-down service like a restaurant more like a mix between fast food...

This place is the best place for exactly what you're looking for when it comes to Authentic Mexican Food 💪👍✊ . My friend and I were traveling from Eugene to Bend on the 13th of this month Boneyard Brewery to get some things to bring back with us , we got hungry , but not just for anything something that would catch our 👀👃 then we saw it , a lil green building saying " Los Jalapeños " we we're hooked . Ordered a few tacos each , sense we we're looking for something quick to get back on the road , and were blown away . The presentation and aroma from the food was amazing , we both took our first bites and silence.....one after another , bite here , bite there , then we broke the silence with ........ " OMFG " these are the best tacos I've ever eaten . NEED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH MANAGER/ OWNER

I had my mom pick up the order (3 large burritos) and they charged her an extra $6.50 for ten 1 oz green sauces on the side. I've never had to pay for sauce on the side and I understand if this is a new practice, but $6.50 for a small amount of sauce is insane. I even called to ask about the manager to speak about this situation, and was told to call at 2 pm today 03/25/2024. I called back at 2:15 and the employee first told me the manager won't be coming in until later and the next call the manager is all of a sudden actually on vacation and wont' be here until next week.
