I have been to all the CO installers… and while Sargent’s does not look like much, their service and value is the absolute best. They were recommended to me years ago and I now recommend them all the time. They have done about 9 installs for me: Porsche, EV, trucks, cars… I trust them with anything… and they have installed CarPlay stereos, Bluetooth e stereos, backup cameras, and even a dash camera. My favorite was a big screen CarPlay stereo for my daughter’s car… it really gets noticed! I also really like the installer… great guy.

I don't generally write reviews but on this occasion I felt compelled because the review at "mike.boyce.161" appears to be so inaccurate.

The deck in my Pathfinder cratered after several years of service. I contacted my Nissan dealer and was quoted an approximate 400.00 charge for a trade/install of a reconditioned unit. Plus a two to three week wait. To their credit Nissan suggested I could do better with a local stereo dealer. I did an internet search and came across the "boyce" review. Almost crossed Sargent's off my list, but after checking with two other Bend dealers decided to be thorough and see for myself.

Unlike "boyce" I'd give Sargent's five stars. Maybe because I was dealing with the owner? In any case, both he and his installer were excellent. Knowledgeable. Personable. And...I got my replacement, including installation, for 150.00 less than my best local quote and in one hour with no appointment.

I've had Pioneer products in other vehicles I've owned, but I was still quite surprised at the improvement in both the receiver reception and the quality of the CD sound in my new unit.

I'd have to guess "mike.boyce.161" was having a bad day…maybe several bad days…before...

As someone who's new to car audio, he helped me a TON! I bought a new amp for my chevy tahoe, and had no idea how to install it. I pulled up to Sergents not realizing the place was closed, but as I was walking back to my car, he walked out of his shop and proceeded to tell me exactly what I needed to do to install my amp myself. He didn't try to sell me anything or get any money out of me. Just gave me some SOLID advice. Now thanks to him, my system is bumpin!

100% will be coming back for any future audio needs.
