Absolute INSANE customer service I have EVER seen!! The Woman who works there with a blonde Karen style haircut just talked down to a (POC) customer for simply asking a question on a price and she was responded to in the most disgusting condescending way and then TALKED BADLY ABOUT HER TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER!!!!! I can not believe I just witnessed this. I feel terrible for anybody who has to work with this ungodly awful person.
Me & my FiancĂ© were standing in line to check out and this lady was checking out and wanted to use a $10 off coupon she had and for some reason some lady worker (who wasnât even the cashier helping her) chimes in and basically hereâs how the convo goes
karen: âoh you canât use that on those platesâ
customer: âwhy not?â
karen: âthose plates are $20 eachâ
customer: âbut theyâre all bundled together and wrapped up with only ONE price tagâ
cashier: âyeah iâm pretty sure itâs just $20 for all of themâ
karen: âwell on ebay those plates are $50 a pieceâ
customer: âthatâs not trueâŠ. I have the ebay appâ
karen: âwell theyâre $20 eachâ
customer: âthen why is this guy saying itâs all togetherâ
karen: âI WORK HERE I KNOW THE PRICES I AM AN EMPLOYEEâ
customer: ââŠâŠ okayâ
an older lady in like looks back at me to see if Iâm witnessing the interaction and me, thinking this old lady has a brain, I say to her âitâs a thrift store. not a resell shop. ebay prices donât matter.â and the lady looks puzzled and turns back around.. TURNS OUT THAT LADY IS FRIENDS W THE KAREN!
so the customer goes outside to place something in her car before coming back inside for the rest of her cart and the Karen goes âgod that lady was too muchâ to her old lady friend
well RIGHT as she says this the lady COMES BACK into the store and was like âOh IâM too much???â and the ladies donât even turn around bc they were too embarrassed they got caught talking about herâŠ
This woman does not deserve to work in customer service. This was the most unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed and i wasnât even involved!
I got apologized to by the lovely man on register for the actions of the immature employee and I told them there was absolutely zero need to apologize for a grown womanâs actions. I hope she learns to grow up and not treat...

Called a few times to see if their donation gate was going open (it was a Sunday) and I know that due to limited staffing even though their greeting message says they accept donations during business hours, they often arenât open at the donation gate until Noon. I was waiting to drop off some items. No one answered the phone so I drove to the front and brought my items inside- was greeting UNENTHUSIASTICALLY to say the least by a man standing at the counter who told me they âdonât normally accept donations on Sundayâ. I replied that their phone message says they accept donations during business hours. He again said âthey donât normally accept donations on Sundaysâ and just stared at me. I again informed him that their phone message says otherwise and could I please leave the two small bags with him. He walked around the counter and took them and walked off. No âthank youâ, no âsorry for the confusion from the phone greetingâ, nothing. Just took them and walked off. I have always had good experiences donating here previously, but this was really rude and very disappointing. I know people have bad moments, but this was just ridiculous. I wasnât asking them to accept something outside their posted donation hours, etc. The man could have been polite and acknowledged the inconvenience of my trip to go there and their incorrect...

The person who ringed us up, over charged us by 8.99$ it was a simple mistake but when we went back in a women came to help and re rung up all the items and charged more? She blamed everything on the first cashier which was honestly very nice, she said âheâs newâ and âitâs his faultâ she ended not helping us at all and changed the prices so they costed more. Everything made no sense and she ended not even giving us the receipt. Got no money back, no help, less money in credits which we will never use because of our experience. Apparently sweaters are classified as âhoodies, cardigans, and sweatersâ which we got three of (literally got 2 sweatshirts and 1 cardigan) but then when the woman rung it up said it was light outerwear which costs more, along with that she said âlight outerwear is considered anything you wear over clothesâ which is basically everything you wear except for bras and panties so that whole statement made no sense. Overall Iâm really disappointed with the women who came to help, the first cashier was so nice and was even willing to give us the money back out of pocket.
