CORE Electric Cooperative — Local services in Bennett

The gals here are so nice and helpful, that's the 4 star. They really do try to offer the best options to assist customers in paying the utility bill. I would give it a 1 star because Im just not a fan of the new meters. Seems the per usage has increased incrementally over the last few years in preparation to pay for these meters. Now it seems it is to maintain them. The ridiculousness of it all, being a member has no electoral benefit. The Co-Op makes decisions without member votes and imposes increases at will. The Company known as IREA changed their name to CORE. The name change cost the investors thousands of dollars to remove old logos and replace them. This included, letterheads, uniforms, software and repaint trucks and equipment with new logo. Not sure what the name change accomplishes but my electric bill and service hasn't seen any improvement.
