Bad experience on treadmill. It accelerated at the time I pressed arrow to go up from 3.5 to 3.7. It sped out of control. I was told by neighboring client who was trying to get my treadmill to stop after I had tried that it went to 10. He had no success until I'd wiped out. I was afraid that if I missed the rubber side with feet that I would be doing splits and truly extend the injury into weeks of recovery. I had to release hands and fly off the back which ended up giving me belt strawberries and one deep cut of 2 located above ankle. It also embarrassingly pulled my leggings plus capres down with the belt force. Even my boy style underwear was pulled down to a point. I went to counter for first aid...one worker (female) was not a bit enthusiastic about assisting by getting ointment or bandaid. I asked for ice and she didn't see any. A male worker happened to come in the rm. He handed me an instant ice pack. I was given one little pk. of ointment by the female and had to ask for another as I had more areas that needed cared for. I took the ice and went to sit on sofa to apply it. No report was spoken about or written up. When I returned 2 days later the male worker asked me how I was but, said nothing about the machine until I mentioned I hoped a sign had been placed on the treadmill. Then he said a repair guy was here yesterday and worked on 4 treadmills. Nothing more was said. I was there to work on arms only as wasnt able to do legs as leg was hurting. I'm on the afternoon of 8th day and after daily tending to I have red around sore and area is throbbing I will be going to urgent care after work today. Needless to say, now after this time I don't feel comfortable with safety of cardiovascular machines. There's a 90% plus feeling I will stop membership. It's sad as I felt the hydro massage bed was helping me with a stressed neck. I also like that a trainer is available through day hrs to lead small groups. The price of $20 is hard to walk away from but, I don't feel assured that another treadmill won't accelerate out of control when...

While the facility is clean and offers an array of machines, I started my black card membership at $20 per month. On the downside. The membership has gone up to $25.08. That doesn't seem to be a problem for me. However, the hours of operation, when I first started was 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, now the hours have decreased. The hours for a while now have been Monday through Wednesday, 24 hours a day, Thursday until 10 PM. And then 6 o'clock until 10 o'clock on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (I assume to clean in light of Covid - 5 years ago) Now I pulled up this morning (Tuesday May 27th) and they are closed till 6 o'clock. This is due to Memorial Day. Which was Monday. This affects my ability to exercise before work, that starts at 7 am. I got up hours early not noticing a small sign posted at the door. Memorial Day has passed. Every store is closed at this hour and I am stuck waiting hours in my vehicle for them to open, only to have time for 20-30 minutes of exercise. I get greasy at work so exercising after work isn't practical for me. All said I do like the gym despite the negativity voiced among others who feel a gym should be geared more towards heavy body building. I only wish they would return to 24 hours a day. If anything, they only need an hour or 2 for a deep cleaning of...

This is by far the worst gym in berrien county. I have noticed recently a lot of us pull in after 5 o'clock to get our workout and many of us noticed the door is open so we turn round and leave because we suffer from seasonal allergies and we like to be able to breathe while we work out. So we are paying to be able to work out there and they are sticking there middle fingers up at us. If you talk to them about it they say to bring a doctors slip stating our medical issues. Isn't that invasion of privacy? Seems there focus is money not quality. As far as invasion of privacy goes I will be talking to my family lawyer about this. I advise everyone to stay away from this place like the plague. .02 sorry owner nothing will change. Management at the bh location is awful.emailing them will only cause more stress on me.
