BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Benton Charter Township

Edit: They have a new staff and everyone that is working there now is so friendly. My order was made wrong at the drive thru and the person working the drive thru started up a conversation with me and it didn't seem like I was waiting long at all because of their wonderful customer service. The change in staff was a great move.

Absolutely the worst Biggby I’ve ever been to. I got there at 12:45, looked over the menu and ordered by 12:48 (time stamp on receipt). The place was packed so I understood if it took a while longer. I didn’t expect for the place to empty out and my family and I being the only ones left. At around 1pm we get up to ask for our sandwiches and the employee who took our order goes home! She reminded the staff on duty to make our sandwiches too! The staff is chit chatting and laughing away while by 1:15pm we are STILL waiting for our sandwiches. By this time, I was furious because there was no one in the shop but us. I asked for a manager and I got directed to the shift lead who admitted to forgetting our sandwiches and said they’ll be out soon. I told her our iced drinks melted while we waited because it was supposed to be a meal not ate and drank separately and she refused to remake our drinks. I asked for compensation or manager and she said there was none and best she can do is take our name and number for 2 free drinks next time. Which was then written on blank receipt paper rather than a managers notebook or something to make it believable that you were helping me. (Time stamp of when we actually got our sandwiches was 1:27pm) What frustrates me the most is all the laughing and snickering going about when there was a WAITING customer. I love this Biggby Coffee location! The café has a more modern yet cozy vibe. The drive through is a really great addition! Convenient to local shopping, there’s always a friendly face when I walk in, and the coffee is sooo good. They always get my Quad Super Black Forest just right. And on the off chance your order isn’t fantastic (hasn’t happened to me before) they go above and beyond to make it right!

The owner, Matt, is a really nice guy and all of the baristas truly show their passion to share great coffee and their love of people.

So many more flavors than other cafés in the area. There’s something on the menu for everyone and if you don’t know what you want to order they help you find the perfect drink for you!

First time trying Biggby. I'm usually a black hot coffee type of girl and dabble a cappuccino once in a while. I decided to get a cappuccino this time and boy did i know something was off when I was handed a HUGE cup with "cappuccino". Never in my life had a had a cappuccino in a 24oz cup (maybe bigger). I decided to try it anyway and it was so bitter! The type of bitter i could encounter at a gas station self service cappuccino machine not for a handmade cappuccino. I had one sip and threw it away. Not sure if Biggby has this taste for all their espresso beans or the barista prepared it wrong. But I will definitely NEVER try any other Biggby again. Highly disappointed. Service was great. Store was very clean but these great things can't make up for a 24+oz...
