I can't understand how this restaurant stays in business. It's the very worst one in Benton Harbor. I've been in there 3x, all three times because other groups decided to meet there.
On one of these trips, we arrived around 6 or 7 p.m. and literally everything our group tried to order, the waitress informed us that they "were out of". It became to bad, that we finally asked "What DO you have available?" She had to go back to the kitchen and check and there were only about three items on the menu that were available. So, being good natured and all in a good mood, we ordered and it took 2 hours to get our meals, & then they were absolutely terrible.
The other two trips weren't as bad as that one, but the wait there is HORRENDOUS every single time. The last time, I just showed up late at a group gathering, after the others had ordered and the waiter asked me if I wanted to order. I said, I don't think I want to wait 2 hours after everybody else has eaten to get my food. (By this time I knew how they were). He INSISTED he could bring me my food with the others. I said "I tell you what, if you can bring me a fruit bowl, WITH everybody else's meal, I'll pay for it!". Well guess what? We stayed and talked a long time after everyone else had their meal and the table was cleared, and then he brought out my fruit, just about the time I was getting up and strapping my coat on. I just laughed and said "keep it".

Read moreI have eaten at this location several times and each time the experience gets worse & worse, but today took the prize. Customer service was non existent. We wanted the sweet cream crepes that had been advertised for the last few weeks. When we finally received our food the peaches were ice cold, the crepes were doughy and the presentation was awful.Our food was just thrown onto a plate. I had three small crepes with peaches on them and one big crepe with nothing on it. My daughter's was the same. She also order the Mango Mimosa orange just and received regular juice. Her four strips of bacon was undercooked. After our waitress placed the food on our table she abruptly left and never returned until she saw us putting on our coats. When she offered us a box we began to explain to her the problems and she just responded by taking the bill back and walking away mid sentence. After several minutes she told us that we could speak to the manager at the register. When we walked up to the register he never said a word and made us wait. My daughter was the one to speak up and tell him about his lack of professionalism. He simply responded that he was" trying to figure out how to give us ladies a discount". He never apologized or even thanked us. He took $10 off the bill. Trust me we did not even eat that much worth of food, but we were just ready to get the heck out of there. Read moreI ordered $63.00 of takeout. My server was nice. There was only one other server beside her ( very rude ). I waited patiently only asking once if I'd been forgotten about. The gentleman behind me who dined in, finished his meal, and commented that he couldn't believe my son and I were still waiting when he was leaving. Finally, our food came out. As I looked through my bags, there were no napkins, condiments, or utensils. So, I asked. The server goes and gets me the smallest containers, even though I paid extra. Then, she says "I'm not doing no more takeouts!!!" We went to eat our food and it was all cold. If someone is going to have a nasty attitude they should at least do decent work. When I called the Manager all he did was make excuses. Bad behavior in a place of business is inexcusable. Initially, the Manager said my money would be refunded within two days. After five days it wasn't. So, I went in. He then told me I had to take a gift card and acted in the manner as if he was doing me a favor. Rather than a genuine apology for his employee's behavior he continued to make excuses. Patience did not pay...
