Joanna La Michoacana Taqueria — Restaurant in Benton Charter Township

All the staff were super friendly and knew what was available on the menu. I ordered some of my favorites, which are simple basics for me personally. I ordered the steak tacos mexican style ( just onions and cilantro), mexican street corn in a cup, and to drink. I ordered a large Aqua Fresca cucumber and lime flavor. The Aqua Fresca looks good and tastes just a good. It is refreshing and has just the right amount of lime and cucumber to balance it perfectly. Definitely a 5 🌟. The mexican street corn was good too it was the best version I have in the area so far. The corn was warm and the cheese was layered in the corn so that the ratio of corn and cheese and mayo was in every bite, I only wanted a little more of the chili powder on it but that is just a personal thing I added some tajin and it was perfect for me. 5 🌟. I was a little surprised by the size of the taco because I am used to the larger portions from the other taco places locally. However, the steak tacos were good, the meat was fresh, the topping was fresh, and the corn tortilla shells were warmed to prefection, the salsa was also good and the limes were a pleasant surprise to find in the bag. 5 🌟. I like the bright and cheerful decor that says enjoy and have fun. It is definitely a place where I'll be back again to try...

Great experience at Joanna La Michoacana Taqueria! Located in Benton Harbor, these goodies were very good and I love the taste of the food, atmosphere, and service. I appreciated them offering ice cream and great dessert.
