Verizon — Local services in Benton Charter Township

I went to this store for help getting a transfer pin because my account had been locked when I attempted to switch from a service to Verizon. I was unaware that my service would be shut off and I would not be able to switch to this carrier because I could not understand the English of the Verizon associates over the phone. I went in the store and was told that I would have to drive all the way to Mishawaka to get a transfer pin. After telling begging the associate to get a manager, he started to stare at me in a sarcastic manner (Aaron Ramsey) while stretching his eyes and cocking his head to the side so I replied “this is weird”. Aaron then began mumbling under his breath, so after telling him to just give me the needed info so I could leave the store, one of his family members who was I believe to be the manager (Jonathan Ramsey) came and asked him if he needed him to take over to which Aaron replied “no, I got it”, but Jonathan Ramsey still came and stood beside me in a threatening manner and yelled at me that I wasn’t accepting the information given and after I told him he needed to step away from me I got up to leave and he told me “you’re forgetting your keys, and thats weird” after that I grabbed my keys out the chair and Jonathan then followed me to the door insulting me in front of customers in the store and one who had just came in the door. After spending 3 hours with 5 different customer service reps unsuccessfully, we were so upset that we were being told that one of our phone’s battery had completely died/not backed up or anything was retrievable. We called Jajuan Lilly at the Benton Harbor Michigan Verizon store and consequently drove there to meet the most professional, knowledgeable, courteous, amazing representative. He put our supposed dead phone on the wireless charger and was able to 100% help us. He deserves so much praise for being outstanding and want to give him all kinds of praise for helping us in our panicked situation. We will continue to go to him for all of our needs in the future.
