Always cool place. Tool guys version of Great America or the Bunni Ranch(they aren't Bunni Ranch cool yet, gonna take more than the ICON tools to do that). I remember shopping at HFT when they were and online company. When they put the brick and motar stores up, I felt like I had discovered the lost city of Eldorado. The tools are actually really good(coming from a hard core Crastman tool supporter). I think that anyone, the kid that just graduated Lincoln Tech or UTI( Universal Tech needs to get a better acronym), the shop owner that's just trying to give people quality work at a fair price or even the person that is just trying that 1000.00 vehicle going so they can feed their family. HFT is the place. And to be perfectly honest with everyone all the companies have lifetime warranties what makes a warranty worthwhile is when you can walk in and trade a broken tool out no frills. HFT does this(although I have had some instances over the years where I've had a little issue with some of the store managers other than that they're pretty good with the trade-in, but the phrase no hassle should mean no hassle). Read moreNo curbside pick up! In the midst of a pandemic, and spiking numbers in our area, to not offer curbside pickup is beyond comprehension. When I called to ask about curbside here is how the conversation went:
Me: “Hello, fo you offer curbside pickup”? Harbor Freight: “Yes, you can come into the store and pick up your order.” Me: “Well, that isn’t curbside pickup is it?” Harbor Freight: “No, you can come into the store.”
I guess shipping is always an option, but wait, last time I did that with them it took 5 weeks to arrive, no tracking, what arrived wasn’t what was advertised and no way to return it without, you guessed it, going into the store.
