First let me say I love the doctor there I hate that I have to leave because they have such a horrible front office. You call at the end of February let them know you’ve been getting these weird palpitations in your chest not often but you’d like to see the doctor you’ve also recently lost 40 pounds and they schedule you three months out? My original call was on Thursday I got bounced around for about 10 minutes through their phone tree until I ended up at voicemail I left a very detailed request. Five days later I had heard nothing So I call back after about 15 minutes somebody finally picks up the phone I give them my information and let them know what’s going on. No follow-up questions no comments simply “OK our first available appointment is the end of May“. I was a patient for 15 to 20 years seeing doctors and getting stress tests done. I have been healthy for 5 years. Now that I really need them they tell me I am a new patient because I haven't been there in 5 years. So I can't see a doctor until after the first of the year. With the health issues I have I could stroke out or have a heart attack before then. Horrible place to place your trust and be a long term patient. Update: They reached out after this review and left a message on my phone. I called Julie/Julia and left a message TWICE. NO RETURN CALL. Called their scheduling department but they didn't answer. Read moreMy Father has been going to Dr Walsh for years. Lately, they have been very sloppy with the appointment scheduling. My father had an appointment scheduled for the Monday following Thanksgiving, I called to confirm, and they said that oh Dr Walsh won't be in the office that appointment was cancelled. Well... news to us! If I hadn't have called, I'd have been taking my almost 99 year old dad to the office only to find out there was no appointment.
This was not the first issue, last time we were in, Dr Walsh made my dad wait for over an hour in the exam room while he talked to the patient in the room next door over some concerns.
The courteous thing to do, would be to tell that patient, "let me see my scheduled patient, and come back to talk to you further".
