I have been going to Legato Salon and Spa in Birmingham for several years now, and I specifically see Jozy for all of my hair needs. I can't say enough good things about the location, but especially my stylist, Jozy. She always understands exactly what I want and executes it to absolute perfection. She is phenomenal, and blends my balayage seamlessly so I don't need to touch it up as often as I otherwise would, except I do get it touched up often because Jozy just makes me feel like my best self when she works her magic on my hair. I am always nervous when trying to find a new salon. I made an appointment at a different salon but canceled it, and boy am I happy I did! Legato Salon and Spa might be my favorite salon I have ever been to...and I have lived in Chicago, Atlanta, and New Orleans. It's very hip, and I am not. I was worried that I might feel out of place, but the people are just so lovely. I cannot recommend my stylist, Zoe, highly enough. I have curly hair and FINALLY...someone who GETS CURLY HAIR!! My color came out spectacular as well. I have now booked myself out for 6 months (I would have done a year, but they want to let their stylists take vacations LOL). My stylist, Zoe, was attentive and took her time to understand exactly what I wanted. Zoe's expertise and attention to detail are unmatched. She also educated me on how to style my natural waves while protecting it from heat tools. She gave me the best haircut I've ever had, and I left feeling more confident and refreshed than ever.
