Loved our lunch visit here! We found street parking right out front. No wait to be seated. Our server was helpful and friendly. The dining area and cute bathroom were clean. Shopping at the attached market is dangerously fun. For drinks: I chose the drinking chocolate and my husband got a coffee drink of some sort. My only complaint here is that they were gone too fast! So much goodness packed into the tiny cups. The food was incredible! We started with charcuterie. Those crackers! So light. Like nothing I've had before. The yummy pickles had just a little spice to them. So good. I forget what meat and cheese we chose - but the meat was a smokey beef and I couldn't get enough. I had the salmon toastie. I love that they didn't skimp on the salmon. The toastie was delicious and just what I was craving. My husband ate the Wagyu pastrami sandwich. I confess I stole several bites. Wow. Both of us agreed it was by far the best pastrami we had ever tasted. Weeks later now, I'm still craving it. Must. Go. Back. The only drawback was that the florescent lights were on for a good portion of our lunch until someone (a manger maybe?) Walked in and realized they were on. She quickly turned them off so the lighting was dimmed and the ambiance improved significantly. Now I need to check this place out for dinner!

Such a nice crew, ambiance, and a delicious selection of food that got us wow’ed. Potatoes and olive cake (both not pictured) were our favorites ♥️. Will go back soon!

A secret little spot with scrumptious food, attentive service, and uncommon drinks. You always dream of finding a cozy little cafe that has adventurous food, but doesn't seem like it's trying too hard to be weird. The Rind is exactly that. At first I thought it was a Cheese Bar.... One of those places that brings you a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine. Of course they will do that, but there is actually so much more that's not on the menu. How about a Steelhead with a light sauce? Or a bowl of long stemmed local mushrooms in a buttery sauce? (It looked like creamed bats when we saw it delivered to another table). Or a seared steak with the best crust you've had outside of Paris? We keep ordering random dishes, and none of them were anything less than amazing. You can get cheeses, tins of exotic fish, warm Olives... so many surprises. For desert, we were recommended the olive oil cake. Not too sweet; the perfect ending to the meal. Hopefully too many people won't find out about the place and ruin the intamacy, because right now it's doing everything right. Highly Recommend.

Oh my goodness! I NEVER write reviews but my dinner at the RIND was just that amazing! I was visiting from San Francisco where I think we've got some pretty fantastic restaurants and was super impressed by The Rind and their neighboring shop 'Mongers Provisions'. First off the design was super inviting and you could tell just how much thought when in to each detail, be sure and check out the custom made tinned fish wall paper in the entry. The staff were all fantastic, friendly, funny and super knowledgeable about the food and amazingly delicious cocktails they serve. Many customers knew one another throughout the evening which made it feel very inviting and as if you were at a friend's house for dinner. Now the food WOW everything was so so good! We started with two different varieties of anchovy in the most delicious olive oil paired with the yummiest bread from a local baker. The squash salad was divine and all the veggies /greens were incredibly fresh. We shared the steak and fish which were both superb. Finally the olive oil cake with a dollop of fresh whipped cream was unforgettable and probably one of the best desserts I have ever had. yUM! And then when you're done eating your meal you can pop next door to MONGERS to purchase many if not all of the products you enjoyed at dinner. They have an extensive variety of oils, vinegars, jams, tinned fish, wines, non alcoholic beverages (that taste like a cocktail!) chocolates, meats and of course cheese. Thank you to all at 'The Rind' & 'Mongers Provisions' for an incredible night! Cant wait to return! Definitely check out these spots that are owned and run by two guys who grew up in Michigan. Support small businesses! OH MY GOODNESS I almost forgot to mention the most delicious potato dish can’t recall the name of it but somewhat like a...

amazing place! filled with happy people and that included the staff! lol . Seriously, the owner Will waited on us and such a great guy. One of those people who remembers everyone's name and makes you feel at home. KILLER Food . We started with Fatty Meat and Cheese meat being Bunny and Pork Terrine and Speck. cheese was Bay Blue just perfect. Spring Salad, Beautiful Beans (garbanzo) Pretty Potatoes lol (Pave Potatoes) i have a weakness for those lol and a Braised Duroc Pork Shank that was absolutely remarkable. Ther were two for the table and they were huge and we were all stuffed so a lot came home and a Frittata this morning. i cannot neglect the wine . Very eclectic wine list that's very well put together. Every one a winner. If you like Rose the Bandol will not disappoint. To top it all off, you can walk through the connecting door into Mongers Provision for fatty meat and cheese which we did lol and a absolute boat load of specialty food stuffs. This couscous handmade in Tunis is killer , Bomba rice for Paella which was way cheaper for a kilo and better than anything on Amazon. Rancho Gordo Beans from Napa!!!!! Oh i could go on lol but do yourself a favor and go and you will fall in love. I would suggest a reservation. Small space and it...
