Shchedryk Ukrainian and European Grocery Store — Local services in Berlin

As someone with Polish heritage, I was so excited when I heard about this new Eastern European market. My mom and I went in after having lunch in the area, and we were impressed by the extent to which they prepare their frozen foods in house. They have a huge variety of food to choose from, and it’s nice to know that they need only an hour’s notice to cook any food from their frozen selection to take home. You can even see the cooks preparing the food by hand in the back! The store is immaculately clean and so bright and inviting. Everyone was friendly, kind, and willing to answer questions. We can’t wait to make dinner with everything we picked out, and I’m sure we’ll be back again...

New store (as of late summer 2025). Clean, professional, good selection of items from Ukraine (+Bulgaria, Latvia). Fresh bread (not from Europe :), but in the European style, juices, canned goods, fermented goods, staples for your pantry, coffee, crackers, candy, sweets. Also fresh goods: varenyky (pierogis), meats, cheeses, prepared foods, frozen foods, cakes. Basically, you can get everything you need for a party or to stock your pantry here. It’s a real Ukrainian grocery store. Great frozen food section with lots of home made goodies. They make their own products in house. There is only one caveat - I need my wife as a translator as most of their products are labeled in Ukrainian. Service and products are top notch and the store became fast one of my favorite...
