I just recently got back into cleaner eating and The Fresh Monkee is such a great option! I decided late in the day that I wanted something and started making my way towards the store only to realize they were closing 5 minutes after I had arrived. I felt bad asking them to work down to the line like that, but they were incredibly welcoming, and told me it was not a problem at all and Never to feel bad for coming in late! They would be happy to make a shake until the moment they close. That may not sound so important to everyone but as a business owner myself, having felt so welcomed and wanted as a customer, it warmed my heart. True care and kindness are hard to come by these days but not at The Fresh Monkee! My shake was made with absolute care they paid close attention to my dietary restrictions and helped me modify the recipe accordingly, I will be back many times to come and will let anyone who's looking for a shake know, this is the place to go! Read moreLet me just start by saying, we love the shakes we get from Fresh Monkee but the service at this location has been spotty. I know that this pandemic has been hard on us all and some people have bad days but some of your staff need to learn to leave that at the door and show some basic kindness. For example, it would be nice to get a “you’re welcome” rather than a “yup” or “mhm” when you say “thank you.” Another example of less than stellar customer service - I brought my young child (as I usually do) and forgot to ask for whip cream. As the girl was finishing the shakes, I simply asked if they can put whip cream on the shake and her response (in a stern tone) “not usually” and that was it. Her tone and expression caused me to not push it further and we left, my child was disappointed of course. A better response would have been “we don’t usually but we certainly can if you choose, would you like some added to one of your shakes?” I hope my review will help with some much needed coaching opportunities for your staff at...
Read moreI visited the Fresh Monkee yesterday (3/12) and I honestly felt bad for the employees as someone who has been in customer service for years. The shake was great, however when I arrived I saw two girls literally RUNNING around, barely able to take a sip of water. The blonde girl who helped me out was very friendly and offered excellent customer service. My review is not about the shake or service, it is a reflection of the apparent short staffing as they seemed to be handling a drive through, customers in the store, and most likely some online orders. I honestly felt bad for the 2 girls behind the counter as they deserve to be able catch their breath! Not to mention how busy they were I think it would be impossible for either one of them to take a break. Plus, it was very messy as it seemed like all they could do was serve customers.
