GameStop — Local services in Bessemer

This is our local GameStop. We wanted a Wii U, and were looking at a used one+game. There was not only a weekly ad promo which took effect the very next day. We were told, we'll hold it for you, come back tomorrow... That was cool. The girl there was a-ok by my book.

But... I got to looking later on. There was also a SKU in the system where they could have sold us the used Wii U. We called to see if with the SKU it might go through, because it was exactly what we wanted, AND the website said "IN STOCK."

The reason why we didn't come back for it, was we went to Hoover, after the manager decided to be a bit abrupt, overbearing, and not willing to even look. The manager of the store, like many places in Bessemer (not sure what it is about this neighborhood), just didn't care to get our money.

We bought a brand-new Wii U, and 7 games at the Riverchase Galleria location the same day. The manager of that store was...

GameStop as a company, we all know ...could be better. BUT, Having that said though, this store/location in particular, for a GameStop is great simply because they're always so nice when I go in, whether there's something I'm looking for or not. They've always treated me with respect every single time and they've even done me a couple favors in the past here and there. That is a rare thing especially in this part of town. Purchased a $50 gift card Tuesday night 12/20/22 for my 8 year old as a Christmas present and unable to use it. The young man in the store was really nice and the service was great, however, when contacted about the invalid code on the gift card I was told to contact Roblox. After 5 days, And a generic email...Roblox has not corrected the issue. The store only had the $50 and $100 physical cards in the store.
