As a Mexican American, I can be pretty picky when it comes to “Mexican” food but Habaneros in Bessemer truly impressed me! Not only was the food authentic and delicious, but the service was also outstanding. Our server, Uriel, was attentive and friendly with great menu suggestions. He recommended the #21, which includes flank steak and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans, it was packed with flavor! I also had their Cadillac margarita which was refreshing and made to perfection. My husband and one of my sons had the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans, and my other son ordered the chicken flautas (crispy rolled tortillas filled with seasoned chicken). Everything was so good! However, I do wish the flautas came with rice and beans. Overall, We were seated right away, and despite it being a little busy, our food came out hot and fast.
