The person that owns the salon took it over when her mother passed away... She's not professional and if she doesn't like something she will harass you the entire time you're there and threaten to throw you out before your procedures are finished. I had been going here for years getting my hair done, she didn't like that I was scratching my head while I was having a bleach done... As if she could tell me what to do with my own body... And when I told her that I'm neurodivergent and I have no choice but to scratch an itch... she then harassed me the entire time and threatened to kick me out of the salon while I was in the middle of having my hair done... About 3/4 of the way finished with my color... She's The large lady that wears scrubs. Don't know her name, don't care, she's an evil mean lady... And the other lady at the front desk is her little minion and when she wasn't there the other one started to harass me. I will never spend one penny in this place ever again... It used to be nice before she took it over and since she's been there it's absolutely declined. She also talks to the students like They are below her even though they're the only reason she's still in business because it's the tuition that they pay that keep her lights on... Highly do not...

Honestly, it really depends on who you go to. I've gone there with my mother three times (the first time with my grandmother as well.)

The first time I went I was cutting off most of my hair into a shorter version. The teacher sadly, did NOT know what she was doing, and neither did the student. I was happy with it at the time but when I went back the second time they did amazing.

The second time the teacher (A different, younger one who had short hair herself.) was very excited to see my hair cut, she had to drag herself away so the student could do it. She explained what to do to the student very well and the student constantly checked with her to make sure it was okay.

The last time, my hair needed a trim and this time I was going to get my hair dyed. (I had called ahead to make sure they had the correct color, not sure what would've happened if I hadn't.) They bleached and dyed my hair, trimming it when they were done, to cut off any damaged hair at the end (Bleaching) Although, the blue hair dye they put in my hair was out in NO TIME despite the fact I was my hair as little as possible, in cold water, with special shampoo and conditioner. I don't think it even lasted 2 weeks before my mom just bought hair dye and...

Not at all impressed with this place! From the minute I walked in the door! It had such a strong smell in the building I could hardly take it! The place is in need of a major overhaul remodel! It is very old! I called ahead of time to get a consult with the instructor to see what I can do with my hair/options. So the instructor was sitting right there as you walk in. The instructor just wanted to remain in her chair without having to get up to look at my hair the way that it is supposed to be done. I wanted her to look at the back of my head where the the problem was. Finally she got up didn't even send me to a chair she sent me to a bench. Don't know how she could give me any suggestions without really looking over my hair. This beauty school did not even look like a school.
