We decided to finally try this place hoping to find a new diner that we can frequent. When we got there there was only one other person dining. The AC has apparently been broken for a long time and it was over 80 degrees inside. Very uncomfortable. The place was disgustingly dirty. The floors needed to be swept, the tables were dirty. But then I looked closer and the backs of the chairs look like they've never been wiped. The chairs are green and the backs are black with grime. The glass between booths had so many fingerprints it was insane. Don't look under the booth tables unless you want to lose your appetite when you see the years of grime. It made me start to worry about the state of the kitchen.

I wish we would have left after looking around but still we decided to give it a try. The salad my daughter got was so wilted and not at all fresh. The mayo on my sandwich tasted off. My plate looked dirty and not from my food. I would say the food is worth half what they charge.

The only good thing about our experience was the waitress. She was very personable and checked on us often. The staff must be so uncomfortable working somewhere that has no AC. I saw another review from a month ago where the AC was out so it seems to not be a priority for the owner. Definitely would not recommend unless they do a serious cleaning of the...

I normally used to love boomerang diner but hadn't been in a while. Unfortunately my husband was served raw sausage patties that were seared on the outside so looked cooked until he tried to eat them. They were on his plate with his over easy eggs and hash browns which he ate first and over night and in the morning he was very sick. It was obvious that the fryer oil was old so my chicken fried steak was not tasty and was a little burnt. My son got a grilled cheese and french fries and only ate less then half of the grilled cheese and a couple french fries he said it kinda didn't taste good (I think referring to the fries cause he normally eats all his fries) I'm not one to complain but we told them the sausage was raw and didn't want it replaced cause we were all pretty grossed out at that point so they took off 2.40 or something like that. We don't get to eat out very often because we don't have much expendable income right now and I just left a little disappointed since I was the one who insisted we go there instead of Jim's or waffle house. It wasn't as cheap as it used to be either even with my son's food only being 5.99 or something like that our bill was 43.00. So after tip we spent over 50 . 😞 I was so excited going in because I used to love it and hadn't been in a...

I placed a pick up order online. When we got to the restaurant to pick up there was no customers at all. The ladies at the front were very friendly and kind. When I got home with my order and began serving to my family I noticed the burger patties were barely there.. didn't even cover the whole bun and were extremely thin. (I informed the manager during my phone call and he nervously chuckled "we've been told that before".. if thats so, maybe fix it?..) They forgot our 2 side salads so I called and asked to be refunded for the salads because I was not going to go back to the restaurant as we were already home and ready to eat our food warm.. I was told they couldn't do a refund unless I came back up there. I feel like if I paid online this should be accessible to go in the system and edit the charges since my card info is already there but that apparently can't be done. Also the fried foods tasted off, like the oil needs to be changed and the sweet tea was stale.. disappointing because the sweet tea is usually very good. Over all I was not pleased with our take out experience. I used to love this location but the last few times whether take out or dine in it has been not a good experience. My order total today was $80 including tip and I don't feel it was worth that at...

I recently visited Boomerang Diner, and it was a fantastic experience! Our server, Jennifer, was exceptional—she was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her service really made the meal enjoyable. We started with the 50/50 appetizer, which consisted of fried pickles and fried mushrooms. Both were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of seasoning. They’re definitely a must-try! For our main dishes, we had the breakfast scrambler, pancake special, and biscuits with gravy. The breakfast scrambler was my favorite, packed with flavor and perfect for a hearty meal. The pancake special was also very good, fluffy and satisfying. As for the biscuits and gravy, they were tasty but a bit too much for one sitting! Overall, everything was delicious, but one small suggestion: I’d love to see them add Coke to their drink menu in the future. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for good comfort food and excellent service!

A staple in Bethany, the Boomarang Diner is a delightful anachronism of yesteryear thrust into the modern landscape. 1950's and 60's memorabilia adorn the walls and music from those eras fill the diner. The servers are always amiable and inviting. The burgers are always tasty, though a bit on the small side. Unfortunately they were out of the fried pies, but the chocolate shakes are great. I would suggest adding to the dessert menu; perhaps regular pies. Overall I would definitely recommend.

This afternoon my mother (Linda)& I stopped at the Boomerang Diner for a burger. Instantly we had gone back in time to the musical era of the 1940's,50's & 60's by the decorative pieces . Legendary artists were present,Beatles, Doors, and my moms favorite, the King of R & R himself, ELVIS..The Bacon Ranch Burger ×2 is what we had and it was so good. I am certain that if you are longing for a memory of a forgotten era,Boomerangs Diner is it. I'll stand by my 4 thumbs up rating. David Mitchell
