Sweets by Karen has great, friendly, and quick customer service! It was easy to order a cake through online communication. They answered all my questions quickly and kindly throughout the weeks leading up to the pickup date. Sweets by Karen offers a lot of cake flavors. The 8” vanilla cake I ordered was tasty and soft. And the expected servings was more than enough. I was asked to send an inspo picture of the cake design I wanted. I sent several, just to give an idea of what I was looking for. But I was asked to choose the exact cake I desired. The day I picked up the cake, my friend and I were pleasantly surprised that the cake looked exactly like the inspo picture. Pickup was easy and the storefront is clean and well stocked with many cakes and pastries. The birthday girl’s mommy and I kept gushing about how cute the cake was. We were extremely satisfied. We did not get a picture of the cake in good lighting, so the pictures doesn’t do it justice . I definitely recommend...

We went here super close to closing time, like within 5 minutes. We picked this place because it's open until 8 amd we had just finished dinner right in Bethany.. We were greeted so nicely when we walked in. There was a really good selection of sweets. They had some cool flavored pickles. A couple of refrigerated sections and a section of cookies. Up by the register were some pretty cool bead bracelets. We got a large brownie, a lemon bar, a tiramasu shot, and a canoli. That canoli was THE BEST I have ever had. The lemon bar was great. I don't like brownies, but my husband said it was good. The tiramasu shot was good too. They also had some pretty amazing looking cakes!! This shop happened to be open on a day when I went to pick up dinner from the restaurant next door. Thought I'd pop in and see what it was all about. Wow, I am happy that I did! I bought a couple of amazing sweet treats. I also bought some salsa came home and put it in the fridge. Today, my husband asked me where I got the amazing salsa. I didn't know what he was talking about until he showed me the jar. I of course had to try he was correct, it is amazing! I can't wait to go back and get more!
