I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of years. It changed ownership. Since then there is no customer service and quality of food has gone down significantly. They take criticism as a personal insult and attack the customer, and make accusations.
Also what they use for their dishes is inconsistent, different type of noodles, different cuts of chicken meat, etc. Quality has suffered, luke warm egg drop soup brought out on several different occasions, and bland, no taste, flavorless main dish that I received tonight.
Mgr. didn't even know what the word flavor was. Word of advice to Mgr; when a customer tells you the food doesn't taste good, you should tell the CUSTOMER you are sorry and ask them what you can get them to improve their night out, spending their hard earned money at your restaurant. You DON'T ACCUSE them of wasting food and only ordering and then won't like any of it. And then you go have a serious discussion with your cook and find out what's wrong with the dish and improve on it.
Your inability to provide good customer service has lost you a long time customer, which I told you I was, and that I ordered this same dish every time I came, even that I had it last month and it tasted better back then, than it did tonight, and caused your business to receive this negative review. Maybe you need to not take things so personally, make accusations, not ask customer to pay for food they couldn't and didn't want to eat, and take some customer service classes somewhere.
Response to owner's comment: You clearly missed the part where I said the food used to be good, been coming to this place for around 2 yrs and a month ago the dish I always ordered tasted great, which I told you that last night. I did not say repeatedly the food was not suitable to my taste (those are your words). Instead of listening to me you got defensive and accused me of just wanting a free meal and that you would be wasting food and losing money. You had your chance to make it right last night and you refused to let me order anything else. I don't return to places that treated me the way you did to me, last night. Seen quite a few comments on here from recent posts where people felt the food was bland and had no flavor, so it isn't just me. Your comment back to me shows how unprofessional and lack of any business customer service skills, whomever is in charge of this restaurant now. Read moreCame for a last minute celebratory dinner and enjoyed the food. The sushi boat was a nice experience and being a vegetarian I thoroughly enjoyed the tempura vegetables. However the reason for only three stars is the wait staff seemed reclusive when we needed something and when we gave our order the server was very removed and we had to repeat our order multiple times. My wife and I have both worked in food service in one profession or another in the past so we know sometimes you have rough days but to spend over 30minutes waiting on on the appetizers and having to literally ask the matrade if anyone was going to take our order. During our time there 2 other tables were being waited on and during our almost hour and a half (mainly waiting on the food) another maybe 2 tables came, ate, and left. While in total the average table count being served was 5 total it wasn’t enough for having to wait so long cause so much work the waiter couldn’t slow down and help us.

Read moreOur servers name was Miss Leslie I believe. She was not only the sweetest, but she kept refilling my water and my hot tea without me asking or getting too low. Being in the service industry for 15 plus years, this is my absolute favorite thing because I chug my drinks. The service and food here made my daughter and I extremely happy! The sushi was definitely one of the most fresh I’ve had in a land locked state and the prices were definitely reasonable. They also bagged up my daughter’s left over sushi while I was in the restroom and gave us candy and fortune cookies with an adorable thank you on the receipt! The manager or owner stopped by to ask how everything was and they were all just amazing!
