Josh Early Candies — Local services in Bethlehem Township

First time visiting this business. I went there to purchase candy for the Easter season, and was so shocked to come to find out that they did not have any chocolate crosses, because they are considered sacrilegious!!!! shame on you, capitalizing on this time of year, which hugely revolves around Catholicism and the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, and you will not carry a chocolate candy cross because it’s sacrilegious, but you’ll profit off of it. Your ignorance speaks volumes as to where this country is headed . And also to confuse the customer …. There’s a picture of the Last Supper hanging on the wall . hanging on the wall . Whoever made the decision to stop caring them. I hope they reconsider and not only cater to their own beliefs, but realize if they’re providing a service to the public, they should provide you it to those that are catholic as well . This may be the best chocolate maker in PA. Certainly those of us who live in the Lehigh Valley know that this is the best place to get all candy, but especially chocolate and specialty chocolate. Things can get a bit pricey if you amass a larger and larger collection of items that you want to take home but you do get what you pay for and if you want good chocolate and candy, this place is worth the money. Try to buy before the major holidays and you'll rarely face a line. During the lead-up to major holidays this place is so busy that they have to hire a police officer to assist with traffic and even then, they do a great job moving customers through their store quickly. If it wasn't for the polite lady named Leilani we would have to give it a two I've been coming to Josh Early since the early 1980s. They started Outsourcing most of their candies probably about 10 years ago or such they don't carry the same selection and most of the elderly women there that work are very rude abrupt and not friendly anymore the quality of the chocolates are still there but most like I said are outsourced very disappointing but that sweetheart young lady just did her very best and her manners are impeccable.
