As far as Walmart's go... this one is quite small, but somehow it's selection seems like MORE than others. I'm guessing it's because it doesn't have mobs of shoppers swarming it so older products or items remain and new ones are dappled in giving it more variety, whereas other heavily trafficked stores get new things and they are just wiped out quickly and replaced with the next load? Hey, maybe this is just my personal perception and really far off base. Regardless, my crazy brained theory also would explain why this one is cleaner and the shelves are more orderly than the others in this area (Whitehall, Trexlertown, Easton)... with the exception of Quakertown which is huge and somehow stays pretty tidy. Anyway... way off track here. It's small but still offers a good variety of things. Some areas are lacking... like the toy section is quite small, but others seem to get more floors space than is usual, like the crafts and office supplies which go on forever.. and that's fine by me. This location does have groceries as well, but it's definitely limited by it's size.
Covid concerns? This is a pretty clean Walmart, but even so.. I noticed several employees that did not honor proper face mask etiquette and saw a family of 4 who all wore none at all and were not made to comply or leave. Did I tattle? Naw! But it was plain to see they were maskless and an employee or 5 MUST have noticed. So... the staff is not... focused and proactive in this regard, and that's a shame. I don't recall seeing floor marks to space everyone apart at check out but I can't say for sure. Sorry! I can say for sure that the registers are not disinfected between each shopper checking out. All that said... it's not the most comfortable place to be when there's so much fear and uncertainty in each of us who understands how heavy this virus is. I'm comfortable enough to shop here with the extensive measures I take to keep my family well, but it's personal choice! However you shop or wherever you go, just be safe and...
Read moreDo not go here if you're looking to go grocery shopping for anything other than everyday items of which the store has a scant supply. This store is virtually pointless and makes me question the mental faculties of those who make informed decisions for the Walmart corporation. There is a Super Walmart less than 5 miles away from this location, yet they haven't shuttered this undersized and under stocked store and replaced it with another Walmart that is closer to Bethlehem (this Walmart is in Bethlehem Twp). This place often has lines that are 8-10 people deep and there always appears to be a shortage of carts and people that can help you do, well, anything - including fix a self-checkout machine. Aside from "a little bit of this and a little bit of that", this store stinks. Do yourself a favor and go over the mountain to the Quarkertown Walmart as it's cleaner and just underwent a facelift and the parking lot is WAY safer than the Bethlehem Twp and Easton (Palmer) Walmart stores. If you are coming to this store for a specific item, I HIGHLY suggest that you do a search online to see if this store even carries the item. If the item is at all obscure, you can probably forget about getting it here. Also, this is not the store to visit if the item you're looking for is...
Read moreI highly recommended walmart delivery if you're looking for worst experience, frustration, hassle, with walmart grocery and delivery!!!!!! No delivery on time, massed up order, substitution, missing stuff and nothing you can do but to accept and initiate a return, the app shows stuff in store which doesn't exist in reality, wasted money on delivery and tip and end up receiving stuff you don't like or none, for me I ordered grocery and personal stuff for 250 dollars ended up receiving few grocery stuff equal 30 dollars plus delivery fees and tip for stuff in the store on the corner!!! Horrible transaction there, they hold money for total order and that is reasonable but never release the difference between actual order and the hold, they never refund the actual refund I should get yet if they refund one item and send confirmation email next day they remove the refund and charge my cards, horrible experience, theft and dishonesty. Now I have to file complaint with the BBB and dispute with my bank. Other than that walmart is a great place to shop in person and enjoy everything there including self service lane...
