We were looking to get a quick meal and when walking in, we liked how the remodel looked, clean and neat, but we quickly noticed something was off at the register. 3 different people coming up to get their orders redone as they were all wrong. One person came up at least twice as they messed up their second burger. The manager on duty was just so nonchalant and repeatedly stating the orders to the workers and having to repeat herself multiple times when asking for the food that had to be remade. Firstly, I had asked for a frozen drink and was given a soda cup. They made our order wrong, as well, our order was a whopper and a plain cheeseburger, received two plain cheeseburgers. Cheese not even melted and no toppings on mine, but we didn’t have the patience or time to ask for the burger redone. And we almost thought another customer was about to make a scene as we heard them cursing at the register about his messed up order. There were no napkins out by the soda station. When waiting up front for the manager to turn around and ask for napkins, she just tosses a newly done whopper on the counter to a woman and told her to check it herself to make sure it is done right. She proceeded to unwrap the burger and pull it apart right there. We also came to find out that one of the individuals who had their order wrong was the assistant manager of that Burger King but; on her day off it must have been. So, she is literally witnessing all of these mess ups. Not sure what was going on back in the kitchen. We never saw so many messed up orders in a not so busy...
Read moreOrdered via drive-thru. Only one car is in front of us. We wait 15 min in the drive-thru for the person in front of us to get their food. When it's our turn, I'm greeted, and the gentleman says the amount to pay. Out of curiosity, we ask, "Is the food ready?" As we have been waiting so long. His response in a very different tone is, "I don't know. I'm just over here." Meaning, he is taking orders and charging and has no clue about anything else. I think our question was reasonable as we are at a fast food restaurant and only one car was in front of us. It would have been so easy for him to say either a "few minutes" or "let me check quickly." But no. Then, we still want to know how much more we have to wait. I say, "we just want to know if it is ready or not, as we have been waiting so long in the drive-thru." His response, with his voice in an even more condescending tone, was "well, if you don't pay, you don't get your food." Shocker, if you don't pay, you don't get what you ordered. Who would have thought. We just decide to leave and spend our money elsewhere.
I can assume this is not his dream job, and he is young and full of potential. We've all been there. Now, BK needs to do better with mentoring their employees' basic etiquette when dealing with simple questions. He was very rude. Also, is fast food not fast anymore? Other than him, I could see at least 4-5 more people in there. It doesn't scream to me that they are understaffed, especially in a fast food restaurant. They are merely heating up or frying the food! That...
Read moreIf you read my posts you will see I am customer service oriented. The service I receive dictates whether or not I will return to a location. There is a guy I've seen on TV Jack Diegle (sp). He lives by the motto "Customer is King". Well let me tell you, at this location it is the furthest thing from the truth. We walked in, the manager held the door open for us. He was only there because he was outside smoking right in front of the doors. Love walking through cigarette smoke, not! We enter, 4 employees behind the counter, saw us walk up to the register. No one moved to help us for several minutes. Eventually a girl came up, took my wife's order in between yelling at the person on drive thru. Walks away to "help" the person at drive thru and returns to and says that will be 10.30. Totally oblivious to the fact there are two people standing there and she only took 1 order. Finally place my order and it took 10 minutes for them to get it compete. Why? Because the person behind us had a $100 bill and it took 2 of them 5 minutes to figure out the change. The whole time we were in the restaurant, all you could hear was yelling back and forth from the employees. Not a good place to go and enjoy a meal. My Whopper was good, my wife's chicken sandwich was overdone, dark not golden brown and her Mac and cheetos were overdone as well. Would not recommend this place. Only recommendation I have is avoid it, find somewhere else to spend your hard...
