I'll try to make this short...
Earlier today I left home for work and I've been thinking about getting pizza for lunch. My supervisor decided he's going to get pizza as well, so we decided to go half and half on a large pizza.
Got to Frank's and waited my turn to order. The person before me placed their order, got their receipt and stepped aside. I placed my order and asked how much was it, because my supervisor and I were going half and half so I wanted to know what's half. The lady (cashier) told me the price and I gave her the money.
The cashier gave me the change and no receipt which I'm supposed to receive with my change automatically. So I kindly asked her for the receipt, please. She gave me the receipt with and attitude like; "sure, here's your receipt" and slammed it onto the counter and walked away.
I was shocked because all I did was ask for my receipt so I can show the supervisor how much he had to pay. In shock I stood there just looking at her (the cashier). She walked back towards me and said; "what? You asked for your receipt." So I replied by asking her if I'm not allowed to ask for my receipt? She said I had an attitude about it which she's entitled to interpret the way one speaks as she like, but I never gave her an attitude.
She (the cashier) then went on to say I can't afford the pizza, which was $11.61. So I questioned her about that because I clearly paid for the pizza at that point. She told me to go have a seat and I refused to sit down. I asked for my money back and she told me I can not have my money back because the pizza was already being made. I told her sell it as slices because at this point I'm upset but still trying to remain respectful.
I spoke to the manager and he (the manager) told her (the cashier) to give me back my money. She gave me the money back and I stood there to count it and she said; "you got your money, now leave." I said; "I'll leave, when I'm finished counting my money." She (the cashier) then replied "if I can." First she suggested that I can't afford to buy a pepperoni pizza, now she's implying that I can't count.
Now the manager started to yell across the room asking me if I got my money yet and if I got my money I should leave or he will call the cops. I told him he can call the cops cause all I'm doing is counting my money.
I left three co-workers there and they told me the pizza wasn't even good and they thought she was being racist. I don't want to believe this was a race thing. Up to now I don't understand why this happened.
I also observed the same cashier picking up pizza to put in the oven with the same hand she used to hold customers money. She's supposed to use a spatula or have someone who isn't handling money serve the pizza.
And there goes my lunch break. šš With nothing to eat. SMH!
I WILL NEVER WALK INSIDE THERE AGAIN! NEVER!
As much as I love pizza, I will do without pizza...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to be honest I normally don't like to give bad reviews however this was to the extreme. A friend and I went to the same place for lunch and had a wonderful experience wonderful waitress wonderful service from I believe he was management and then the other cook. However then Friday came and so excited about the experience I had on Thursday I wanted my family to go I was so embarrassed and I was so disappointed we had a very thoughtful and sweet waitress however our food took very long to come and also my husband ordered a panini that looked as though my 6 and 8 year old made it it was terrible but on top of that when management came and she was a woman her attitude was awful to the point where the people next door to us that are at the next table commented on how she was yelling at us and we were very calm and explaining to her that service in the sense of the food coming was bad. I'm going to tell you when people in management don't take ownership when things are going wrong but throw their waiters and waitresses under the bus that is not good she made the poor girl cry however I talked to the gentleman the day after and explain to him what happened he was very kind however I did tell him she could bring down their establishment and make it a horrible place to come and eat with her attitude she made excuses she yelled not only at people that were paying to be there and have a wonderful experience eating she also was disrespectful when talking to her she walked away mid-sentence and that's just rude. I would suggest that people go to the Franks on 191 or the one at 248 but not at this spot if they can't handle when Friday's crowds come in and management is yelling at people and throwing their servers under the bus then that's not the place I would want to bring friends and family there to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt for years now and have been disappointed every time. I stopped going there in 2013 because every time I went in our table had an error or extremely slow service or just poor quality food. I was there just the other day and my sister had her meal screwed up twice...the second time, it wasn't even close to what she had ordered. The waitress was almost flabbergasted so I'm not sure where the error occurred but this has been a ongoing problem with this restaurant. I have never had any issue with the other Frank's in the area (191 and 248). I only went back to this restaurant for a family dinner, there were only 5 of us so I wouldn't say we overwhelmed the waitress. 2 salads, 2 apps and 5 dinners shouldn't be an issue with even the smallest kitchen. Very sad because I was excited to see one open so close but I now opt to drive to the other italian restaurants.
The place is clean and staff is very friendly but it goes downhill fast after that. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone and it's very sad to say. Compared to the other Frank's in the area the food is less than spectacular, food is dry and bland and the portions are very small in comparison to the other places. It is almost like the kitchen staff just does not care and just slaps things together...at least my meals have been. Guys, get your...
