This pharmacy is chronically understaffed. We only go when notified the rxs are ready and the wait times are LONG to pick up. Sometimes 45 minutes. The automated refill phone line is horrible, I am managing an elderly parent and navigating the phone is a complex labyrinth akin to the Matrix. There needs to be an option to connect with someone live in under an hour its awful and the strain on this location has compounded since the Rite Aid on Canon closed. My family is looking at options to leave CVS entirely. Also - the Beverly and La Cienega location is even worse - it's in dire shape and more resembles a homeless encampment than a drugstore / pharmacy. It is a supremely scary experience there. Pharmacists never answer the phone because they are so understaffed. You have to wait in line to request a refill in person or see if your Rx is ready, and then wait in line again whenever your prescription is ready to pick it up.
The second line is generally 40 minutes wait or longer. The staff is doing their best but it’s too much work for the amount of people they have on shift. My most recent visit, there were 15 people in line and only 1 clerk.
