Food is ok. Customer service is horrible. I asked to change my meal to keto. No one listen to me, I asked to skip few days, no one listen. They keep charging my card multiple times without asking around $750.00 each time without asking if they can charge. Never received invoice of what I received and , delivery service didn’t come to pick up their bag and probably they charged again for them to forget to pick up the bag. Saying they will come Friday then Sunday and never came. After few times very frustrated contacted and the lady was very very rude saying why I’m texting so early. She could text me when she can and it wasn’t even call. Saying “lady” “omg” this is too early. Be careful for your charges and pay attention if you decide to order make sure what you want to order and if you want to change and try to communicate probably very very frustrating.
You never told me that was your personal. I was trying any number whoever respond
The other phone never got replied before.
Did you charge me for bag they didn’t pick up ?
This was first time replying me so soon.
After I left this review also other times sounded like as an excuse. Someone from kitchen personal problems happen etc. as a customer we don’t care. I kept asking please change my meal to keto please don’t send my meal Thursday and Friday etc. and after all she was very rude saying don’t text me because it’s too early and it was 6 am. Anyways what happen in your kitchen etc it’s not my business. I’m not getting it for free. I’m paying...
Read moreI traveled into Beverly Hills for a procedure to stitch back together my abdominal muscles and repair a hernia. Having healthy and easy to digest food that met my dietary restrictions (gf, dairy free, and pescatarian) that was readily available was key to a quick and comfortable recovery (bloating on a stitched tummy could spell disaster). After finding her online, I called Chef Lala only days before my surgery and she accomodated my needs with the most amazingly tasty, fresh and nutritious food with convenient/ice-packed deliveries. My doctor said she was shocked that I didn't have abdominal soreness during my first follow up; I fully believe Chef Lala giving me such nutrition is a big reason why!! I was able to give Chef Lala updates on my digestion and readiness for solid foods throughout my recovery via text and she was always kind and responsive. I couldn't have done this without her!! Sorry, I could go on and on....so I will lol...she also accomodated my food preferences in addition to dietary restrictions. For example, I don't like grapefruit so she noted that. She is also highly trained in nutrition for medical needs and knew not to give me foods that could thin my blood or otherwise impact my recovery. I referred her to my doctor's patient care coordinator because any recovering patient would benefit from Chef Lala's...
Read moreChef Nourish is a godsend! Since my husband Jack has been in and out of the hospital for heart issues, I have little to no time to cook for him and always run out of ideas what to prepare. I contacted chef Lala about a month ago and have been blown away by the meals they have prepared, especially for his condition; low sodium diet/heart healthy and diabetic friendly. He has lost about 5 pounds in the last month and his blood glucose levels are in normal ranges(morning readings are 85-95, previously 105-115.) Delivery is typically early morning in a zipper bag with ice to keep food nice and cold which is fantastic. I don’t spend much time in the kitchen in front of the hot stove any longer as meals are precooked and all fresh as can be. All you need is to heat up (stove top recommended) and serve. Delicious! I have more time to spend with him and family. I highly recommend Chef...
