A lovely refuge from the hustle and bustle of the shopping district, where people who live in the area and visitors alike can meet for cocktails or a meal en plein air. Visitors and tourists, myself included, will enjoy ourselves maximally if we arrive well dressed and unencumbered. The place offers marvelous people-watching! For "gardens" what one finds is a large courtyard with symmetrical arrangements of garden-plots and water features, a relaxed and modest rendering of the French classical style. It is comfortably pleasant in any language—agréable, angenehm, agradable—those words come to mind. It is children- and baby-friendly. Encircling the courtyard are various places to get a bite or a drink. Had brunch with 4 relatives - all but one of us was visiting the area had some brunch drinks, and each of us got different dishes. French toast was cut in small squares, but pancakes were served traditional way. Both were very good. Eggs Benedict we're good, and fruit plate was pretty and good. Linguini was also good, and coffee, double espresso we're great. So all good was good, but pricey. Alan, the waiter was terrific as were the wait staff that delivered the food.
