Updated Review: Dr Michael Keselbrener is one of a kind. I love that his practice is small, he is the only dentist in his practice, and that most of the time he performs my dental cleanings. It means he can control the quality of his services and that I benefit from a dentist cleaning my teeth and not just a hygienist. I love that works on my teeth and is able to make observations and recommendations as he cleans. Unlike every other dentist that comes in after a dental hygienist at the end of the appointment to take a peek (or sometimes not even that). Beyond the mundane office visit, Dr Michael is better at than any prosthodontist I've ever been to. He is meticulous in his work and he is conservative in his recommendations (which saves money on procedures in the present and on future maintenance, not to mention conserving natural teeth is healthier). He works with several dental labs and is able to provide patients (if that's what they want/need) with such an elite lab service that can match the color shape of any front tooth perfectly to match the rest. Dr Michael will go out of his way to make sure his work and recommendations are second to none. I'm so grateful I found him.

Dr Michael's approach to dentistry is methodical, careful / precise, conservative and he is a master at his craft. I found him when I was looking for a second opinion after my previous dentist said my tooth is cracked and recommended a root canal and crown. It turns out that I didn't need either the root canal nor the crown because Dr Keselbrener fixed it with an overlay which he did in about 1.5 hours and it came out perfectly without him even having to correct my bite or anything.

Dr Keselbrener runs a small practice, where he is the only dentist. . He does my cleaning, I can't remember the last time a dentist did my dental cleaning.

I'm driven to write this review because recently I experienced an issue with a restoration which has been a reoccurring issue for me in the past. And in the past, under the care of other dentists, their solution was what I understand to be the standard care for this type of problem (lengthy, expensive & for me riddled with anxiety). Dr Keselbrener had an idea on how to go about fixing this problem which is unconventional and if it were to work, it would immediately fix my problem and would be quite cheap. The idea involved a very specific laser machine which he does not own. So, Dr Keselbrener proceeded to research who in the whole US has this machine and then reached out to a few of dentists. He spent several hours over multiple days reaching out to other dentists asking if they would see me and trying to convince them that there is a chance this procedure would work. He found a dentist in San Diego that was reluctantly willing to apply this procedure to my problem. Well, it worked! Even the other dentist who performed the procedure was surprised it worked!

In my opinion, Dr Keselbrener is in a rare category of doctors that hold themselves accountable and responsible for each patient as if each was the only patient in their practice. He has the know-how and he has heart; he cares deeply for his patients and that is why he is my dentist.. and the reason I won't...

I’ve had the privilege of being a patient of Dr. Keselbrenner since 2017. This man is absolutely incredible. I have probably challenged him more than any other patient due to my dental issues and he rises to the challenge each and every time! When you sit in the chair he will not leave your side.
